Devil May Cry

Out of the three, this game has some of my favorites level design and atmosphere. The gameplay is pretty fun, the bosses are iconic, the secret missions are pretty cool and the enemies are also my favorites in the HD collection. Its unfortunate that this game has no mission select, especially if youre going for the 100% and enemy files (not really fun to waste 5 entire hours just to get a single animation from the death scythes in DMD mode for a hundredth of an achievement). So, besides game being unforgiving if youre going blind for your first playthrough while trying to 100%, poor QOL, underwater levels, not much lore and fixed camera trying to ♥♥♥♥ you up, this game is pretty much a solid entry to the series.

Devil May Cry 2

I already had really low expectations for this game and I was still disappointed. This is legit the worst gaming experience ive ever had in my life. The level design is so ass and uninspiring, its just like it was AI generated; the secret missions are now just rooms filled with enemies with no challenge at all and I dont know how are you supposed to find all the 30 secret rooms in a blind gameplay when they are just random af; there isnt one good boss in this game and the supposed main antagonist is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ clown; the story is pretty bad, the cutscenes are even worse and dont even get me started on the gameplay which is just atrocious, i legit dont know what they were thinking while designing the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ INFESTED TANKS AND CHOPPER. At least they had mission select for the missed secret missions and blue orb fragments. The amulets werent bad ig but nothing special. For the bloody palace I dont know how is someone sane enough supposed to get to floor 9000 without infinite DT where you just get easily overwhelmed by those bitchass goats and lets not count out that amazing floor with like 20-30 of those stupid dogs that jump around like monkeys, all of that for like 6-7 hours straight. And for whoever designed TATEOBESU, I hope youre reading this review directly from hell where you belong. If youre just going for a casual playthrough just skip this game. If youre going for the 100% on the HD collection just skip it aswell, its not worth your time. The only good thing you get from playing this game is the gratification you get from playing DMC 3 after completing this ♥♥♥♥.

Devil May Cry 3

I dont have much to say about this. Its just a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ masterpiece. ABSOLUTE PEAK DMC gameplay. Goated bosses, goated characters, goated story, goated gameplay with a lot of variety, goated cutscenes, goated weapons, everything is goated (expect for the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ platforming cubes).
