upon my first interaction with Garfield Kart - Furious Racing i, like many others thought nothing of this game. perhaps it was a cash-grab by the studio, maybe it was more monetary exploitation of my favorite orange feline. however, all negative preconceived notions that existed within me were forcefully taken away when my finger pressed the button on my controller to start that first race. with the movement of my muscles and joints, and the neurons firing signals back and forth in order to control Garfield, i felt with every second in which my eyes laid on this game, that ten thousand astral projections were happening to me. glued to the screen were my eyes, as i could feel my blood be turned to pasta sauce, and the color of my skin slowly becoming a more orange, fuzzy texture. my slender frame began to expand, with the smell of lasagna emanating from me, with the orange color permeating across my body.

i snapped out of it however. i had won the race. unable to process what happened, i set my controller down and reeled back in my chair, in order to make certain I was still in my body. I was, and all i happened to be feeling then was an illusion my primitive reptile brain created as a result of the sheer mind-bending force of emotions spoon-fed to me by Garfield Kart - Furious Racing.

craving the feeling once more, the second race on the lasagna cup was commenced by me with another button press. the same occurrences took place, but aware of what effect the game had i was able to control myself more, as if i was lucid dreaming. my in-game surroundings became more apparent to me, as once the glorious sounds of Garfield Kart - Furious Racing hit my mortal ear drums, I knew there was no going back. the areas in which i raced as my titular vicarious bodied orange feline familiar were felt around me. the smells of urban environments took over my nose and went through my sinuses, and familiarizing themselves within my head. asphalt, motor vehicles, cigarette smoke, pizza, all of which were overwhelming my sent glands in an orgasmic event of galactic proportions. the buttery smooth kart racing made the control melt into the palms of my hands, where i was controlling a sentient benevolent god with my sad mortal claws. before i knew it i had won the final race of the lasagna cup. i put down the controller, and fell out of my chair.

i had awoken hours later with an overwhelming sense of calm. the weather was how i like it outside, my body felt light and flexible, and my brain thought clearer than i had ever known i was capable of. coming to my senses, i walked outside my room and downstairs, as a crippling craving for Italian cuisine came over me. as i approached my kitchen, i noticed, staring at me through my window, was a rather large orange tabby feline staring right back at me

i sit here today with not just a story, but a message on how one can truly achieve a soul-changing enlightenment that to the most skeptical of individuals will shift their world view in the most positive and enlightened way one could ever imagine. steam asks me if i recommend this game, which i must say yes too, but be warned, as this is not a game, however an unending box of divine pleasures that will make you certain about why the human experience is so beautiful. as at the end of the day, after my path of enlightenment, i have a place in my heart for Garfield, the orange cat that changed my life.
