This is currently the best MMORPG game in the world. It is easy to get into, takes only a couple days to get to the stage where you can enjoy guild content & PvP.

One of the biggest drawbacks other reviewers say about this game is the grind, which is completely wrong. The grind in this game is totally up to you. You don't need to grind alot to do anything.

This game got the best guild system I have seen before, it also has the best player-driven economy system. Each guild has their own Discord channel where group events are happening. Big guilds offer plenty of stuff to do every day.

On steam you get a month premium and 2k gold (worth roughly 2.2 million silver) when you buy the base game. This is plenty to help you get started. Been playing for 120 hours at the writing of this review and I have a healthy economy, and I have spent roughly 50% of the starting gold.

Remember to join the official Discord channel for this game, and check guild recruitment channel. Plenty of guilds are ready to welcome you aboard and help you out with anything you need.

The game is almost overcrowded, there are lots of non-steam players online. The community and guilds is definetely the strength of this game, so get a microphone, and hop into your guilds voice channel. If you don't, you are ruining the Albion Online experience.

They are promoting gambling through expensive lootboxes.
They are basically like EA games.
Their network code is bad.
Their anti-cheat code is bad.
They still struggle with performance issues.

They ruined an awesome game concept.
Fortite took inspiration from the game concept, but did it correct.
So now The developers of PUBG are suing Fortnite for that. Even tho they themselves took inspiration from a movie.

Thats the last drop of water in my bucket of patience.

TL;DR: Not nearly as good as FTL, but some casual fun.

Like FTL, you manage your ship, and battle enemy ships. But while you need to do both simultaneously in FTL, this game has a separate "manage ship" stage and "fight enemies/explore events" stage.
In FTL you buy and loot most of upgrades etc. Here you mostly craft them in the "manage ship" stage between battle/event encounters.

Lots of repeating event encountering, in an FTL fashion, however the best answer always seem to be one choice, no / very low RNG.
Alot of weapons are complete ♥♥♥♥, as they are expensive to charge up. You end up with a couple good weapon types and just sell the rest.
Experimentation with new weapons is not encouraged, but sometimes forced if you end up breaking your current weapons.
I liked many of the meme references this game has, but the main story was not appealing and boring. The main characters felt forced.

You don't need friends to play this game. Just join the awesome official discord channel (advertised in-game) and you will find matches in no time and have lots of fun with your new friends!

Amazing game, absolutely worth it. Took me 11 hours to complete the story adventure. A small DLC or continuation of the story after the "final event" would be very interesting. I'm a little sad its over now. :(

This game needs to be fleshed out alot.
A good start will be to implement what we where taugh to hope for in the game.

Best FPS game since Max Payne 1 & 2.

Calling this game the "game of the year" is an understatement.
I'm not much into simulation games, or building games, or much of an architect in general.
But this game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing!

Best 80's movie created in 2015. For sure. :)
