The last year or two have felt bland for me when it comes to gaming. Obviously I've wondered if I'm just burnt out on games, or if gaming is in some truly dark times right now.

This game has been 8 hours of straight up fun so far. Me and my buddy, we went down an ant hill to get quartzite. He held the torch and the hammer and went to work on the quartzite while I fought off a horde of ants. 10 minutes of fighting go by quick as we dive deeper and deeper into their lair. Finally we came to a dead end, but not just a simple dead end, we arrived at one of their food chambers.

I love, love, love details like that. A world that feels like it's completely realistic in it's layout. Obsidian rarely dissapoints and I've realised once again that it's not that I'm burnt out on gaming, it's just that most games have been completely souldead for the past 5-10 years.
