Early Access Review
I may change this later. Right now it's just Conan Exiles with new paint and more jank. Can't recommend. But it's Early Access still so who knows.

Just an all around excellent game. Microtransactions are basically pointless and just a way to toss the devs some love, because you get the micro currency in game quite quickly anyway and it doesn't have much use. Grind is reasonable, and the game rewards actually exploring the maps and doing objectives instead of just rushing primary objective and bugging out. Gameplay itself is fantastic, guns feel great, progression is mostly horizontal so new people don't really get left behind.

Literally only downside I can mention is the server issues, but anyone with an ounce of common sense saw that coming as soon as the game's popularity massively spiked. Lot of whiny trolls in the discussions but that's nothing new.

I've been playing Bethesda games since I was a child, so I had a general idea of what to expect here. I'm honestly still a bit let down. It's not that it's a bad game. It's not. It's good, in a very.... homogenous, uninspired way. Everything works, there's relatively few bugs, there's a ton of game systems and things to do. Just none of it is interesting. The writing is uninspired, there's no real opportunity for roleplaying to any degree, exploration rather rapidly becomes a pointless rinse and repeat.

I feel like this game is a step backwards in most respects for the company. It does everything competently, but not well. There's just no hook drawing me back in.

Early Access Review
It's distinctly early access still, but honestly it's a very well put together game for an EA title. I keep seeing people compare it to Factorio, but that's not really right. It's more like Satisfactory + Subnautica. There's a story, all of your progression is aimed towards goals rather than just building and expanding, and overall I'm pleased with it.

Some optimization work needs to be done, there's a lot of QOL things that are missing, but so far it's very promising.

I really, really want to say yes. But I can't. There are so many bugs right now that I can't in good conscience recommend this game to people. Random crashes entering matches, random endless loading screens transitioning between errors, random error codes and crashes mid-game, it's just buggy as hell.

$10 game at most.

The core gameplay loop works well, it's just... boring. Dig down, make horizontal shafts every third row to find resources, drag them up, defend dome against a small variety of enemies, repeat. No real variation other than some of the randomized upgrades, and very little content overall. It's not a bad game, it's just kinda meh.

Also, still clearly an Early Access title, a bunch of things are marked Coming Soon.

Early Access Review
So far so good - it's quite well polished for being an Early Access title.

The sound design, while somewhat minimal at the moment, is excellent. The lack of a tutorial really only stumped me a few times on how to make things work, but still eventually figured it out. The only real criticism I can state at this point is the way resources are distributed is sorta meh. Everything is just scattered about wildly, rather than being clumped or located in any sensible fashion. Other than the rarer resources the fix for needing mostly anything is "walk five feet and look down".

Otherwise, well worth an EA purchase so far.

Early Access Review
So far this is one of the most polished early access VR titles I think I've played.

Clean, good performance, no bugs as of yet. Great soundtrack. Only downside is only four levels, but given that it's in EA that's forgivable. I look forward to seeing where this one goes. I'd *love* to see a map editor for the community. Otherwise unfortunately this will sit in the same bin as Pistol Whip: something I play periodically before I switch over to Beat Saber or Synth Riders.

Short, sweet, to the point. It's a solid mini-city builder with fantastic music. Don't go in expecting a full blown SimCity and you'll enjoy it.

This game should absolutely still have an Early Access tag on it. I don't know what version the other reviewers have been playing, but I didn't even make it out of the tutorial before ditching this junk.

- Constant issues with the game losing calibration between my model and my headset/controllers, requiring me to re-calibrate almost constantly. At one point I was controlling my model's arms from halfway across the room somehow.
- No comfort options to speak of besides snap turning.
- Aiming point with the left hand projectile weapons was god knows where, certainly not where my controller or even in-game hand were pointing.
- Swordplay was incomprehensible, with no feedback worth speaking of. Half the time I'd swing and connect with the training dummy and it would flash? despite a sound like blades clashing and both of its weapons clearly being in the way to block. Or I'd swing, connect cleanly, and see no result whatsoever. Plus the whole time the training dummy was leaping around like it had done all the meth in the world and was also made out of rubber. The thing literally inverted its hips and head at one point.

Avoid. Avoid at all costs.
