I would say happy New year, but measuring time is just a concept created by humans. In fact, strip it all back for a few seconds. The names of the months and days, countries, flags, boundaries on maps, religions. What's left? Consciousness on a rock which spins around the cosmos we only know 3% about. Nothing more. But most people don't like to think about such things. So happy New year.

I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you’re referring to as Christmas, is in fact, Yuletide/Christmas, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, Yuletide plus Christmas. Christmas is not a holiday unto itself, but rather another component of a traditional Germanic celebration made popular by the religious practices and customs comprising a full holiday as defined by Christianity. Many Christians celebrate a modified version of Yuletide every winter, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of Yuletide which is widely used today is often called "Christmas", and many of its participants are not aware that it is basically the Yuletide holiday, developed by the Germanic peoples. There realy is a Christmas, and these people are celebrating it, but it is just a part of the seasonal festivities they participate in.
