A well-made isometric RPG. If you liked Disco Elysium, you'll definitely like this one as well.
What stood out to me were the different salutors, so so nicely designed!
The setting was great and the set-pieces/ districts felt very cared for.

Clicking your fingers while walking around places for exp/ collectibles can get a bit tedious, but it didn't take away from my overall experience. Animations can be a bit wacky, but this is a AA title, so I wasn't expecting to see motion capture or insanely well-rigged models. Other than that I have little to complain about, I have a positive aftertaste and I'm looking forward to do a new run where I try to do things differently.

Choices felt meaningful, I really enjoyed how giving in to your Pride takes away your agency of choice, locks dialogue options, but also helps out on occasion.
I've only experienced two of the different endings, but it was great to see how the different character relationships blossom, or fall apart.

Much recommended, you should try it out!

AS AN OCCULT AFICIONADO I'll say this game hits it's references very well, while also building a nice concept of it's own.

Lore is super interesting, it's what mostly kept me to the game, and it pairs well with an interesting souls-like combat system. There's a nice build versatility, although most builds come online only after you're close to finishing the game.

Exploration and pacing felt okay. The set pieces/locales are stunning. If you're only doing the main story the game might feel short, but the haunting cases were pretty compelling to do anyways.
I've yet to finish all the haunting cases, but I did get one of the game endings and it didn't disappoint.
There's a very intricate map design where everything's practically connected, and I'm very much looking forward to completing more of the game.
For a semi-completionist run (75%) I've gotten roughly 45 hours of gameplay on very high difficulty. Some of the exploration can become tedious while walking back and forth, so it's better to avoid running around too much until after you've unlocked Antea's third manifestation to save your self the extra trips.

Absolutely recommend!

I love femboys, what a great game.

Very tight guard windows, enemy attack patterns can be hard to read, or maybe I just need to get better? In any case, victory is always sweeter when the boss has been exploring the entirety of my puppet body for an hour straight.
Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Stunning storytelling, the visuals come together expertly in a unique narrative that's told in two halves.
I really enjoyed following Marianne's story, and while it wasn't a long journey, it is a very much memorable one.

Baldur's Gate 3 has such a tight grip on me it's insane.

While I do think that the story after act one feels rather linear, the game still tells a good story, just not with the same care it did at the beginning of it. I should hope for a definitive edition that resolves this, but even if this does not come to pass, I still enjoyed most aspects of the game's storytelling.

The best thing about Baldur's Gate 3 for me, is that you get to play an accurate translation of TTRPG mechanics. It really does feel like I can translate most of my sessions using the game's system alone. There is a great amount of freedom of movement, action, and multiple ways to find solutions to problems that come up during your playthrough.
What especially stands out in my opinion, are the game's well-designed maps, where you get a great sense of tactical combat. That's not just hazards and difficult terrain, but also the verticality of it all. It's really disorienting to manage set-pieces like that in tabletop sessions, but the game really allows you to effortlessly experience them in their fullness, from shoving enemies off a cliff, to leaping to elevated levels for height advantage.

The game plays just as well in solo or with friends, although I tend to prefer campaigns where I can hang out in a party of player characters rather than companions.

Coming back to my earlier comment about Baldur's Gate 3, the lacking writing as you're nearing the end of game does feel more obvious when you're playing by yourself. Your companions have less to comment about and some story arcs play out better than others. Were they more compelling, I'd much rather play solo to experience them, than leave my companions at camp, in favour of playing with my friends. I think lack of dialogue becomes painfully obvious when you choose to run an "evil campaign" and recruit Minthara. There are too few interactions with her, and much less companions available to grab for your party.

Still, Baldur's Gate 3 plays so well that I'm willing to turn a side eye to such issues.
I'm constantly thinking about my next playthrough and I can easily sink in hours into the game without realizing so.

It's an absolute yes from me, try it out.

Stardew Valley became a huge hit for a reason,
very cute environment, lovely character cast, overall a game that makes you fall in love with it.
I can spend hours on end fishing, or farming, or just walking around, and all of them will feel wholesome and rewarding, it's a game you can explore at your own pace and escape to, for as long as you'd like.

Absolutely recommend.

Absolutely one of the better dating sims out there.

Not only do you get to date a really diverse cast of daddies, but you also get to be one!
Wonderfully written characters and some great dialogues that are nicely complemented by mini-games which give a lovely flair to the story as a whole.

Would definitely appreciate more thorough interactions with the other characters, but in the end, even if a bit flimsy, it still makes up for a super cute game and story!

“ The time has finally come. As the Nexus Project begins, we embark on the greatest scientific experiment in the long history of our people. And if we are successful? Then we will have achieved what others have only dreamed of. We will have altered the destiny not just of the Eldan, but of the universe itself. „
