Thank you, Bungie, for bringing this game to Steam. Because I sometimes live under a rock, I didn't even know Destiny 2 had a PC version until it hit Steam. This game is amazing running on my i7-4790k, Radeon 380X Black Edition, 32GB DDR3 system.

Graphics: Pretty
Environments: Amazing in most places.
Sound: Great
Gameplay: For an FPS it is fairly varied making it more enjoyable, with different PvE, PvP, and PvEvP modes.
Customization Options: So many. Especially when it comes to shaders and equipment ornaments.
Storyline: Not too hard to catch onto but wish I could have played the first Destiny.
Other things: I really like variety in the length of missions like the mini-missions or "Patrols", the area missions like the bounties, public events, lost sectors, the main story missions, the vanguard strikes, gambits, and crucible matches.

My only complaint so far: Sometimes it can take several minutes to get just 12 players for a match in Crucible or even 8 for Gambit, with how popular this game is I really hope this gets improved.

Still would highly recommend. Especially for people that like FPS/RPG hybrids.

Do I recommend this game? Yes, with a big BUT.

PRO
-Updated active models look nice (player characters, enemies, interactive/mobile objects)
-It runs well
-It's Final Fantasy VIII

CON
-It looks like there was NO work outside of active models
-Backgrounds were not worked on, so it's nice active models on blurry as heck backgrounds, it is a horrible contrast
-Sound was not worked on at all, and didn't even bother to use the superior PSX versions over the ancient MIDI PC versions just to show some kind of attempt.
-It kinda comes off as a supremely lazy cash grab or a "test" to see if FFVIII is worth remaking, without putting the work into it that it deserves.
-It REALLY needs VSYNC.

MY RECOMMENDATION
It's Final Fantasy VIII so on its own it's still good, but get this one on sale maybe, otherwise just get the 2013 version and mod it to look and sound better than this.

Started playing in November 2015
Currently seeking way to plug in brain to FFXIV to accept it as my new matrix overlord

-Pros-
Gets semiregular updates with bunches of new content
Smooth, beautiful gameplay
Easy to pick up and play
Very immersive and cinematic
Plenty of stuff to do besides grind dungeons
Great community (judging by the server I'm on - Balmung)
Job system is wonderful
Glamouring gear is great especially at "endgame"

-Cons-
Somewhat limited inventory space if you're looking to handle several jobs at once
Get 2 retainers (item storage NPC's) for free, also pretty limited inventory, every extra one (up to 8) costs $2 each per month.
RNG will make you cry
Queue times for dungeons/roulettes as DPS will make you cry
Market Board is EXTREMELY volatile
The conversations over shout that you walk into in Idyllshire and Ul'Dah will make you question the world's sanity
There are no Lalafell Tossing Tournaments
Don't ask about the peaches.
