A good bud of mine and I have been waiting for this game to come out in MONTHS. We've hit the lull where we've cycled through the same few games and needed something new. This game greatly exceeded our expectations. It's just the game we needed and stoked that it's more than we hoped it would be.

The aerodynamic physics of this game feels great. I've played a lot of Star Fox, my buddies played a lot of War Thunder and Elite Dangerous, and other flight-based games---and felt right at home with the controls. It was quick for us to pick up and the classes were interesting and all felt fun in their own ways. I'm sure as I play more I'll notice some gripes, but 4 hours in so far and it's the squad's next go-to timesink.

So far, I don't notice any pay-to-win aspects and its super neat how customizable your profile, character, and dragon can be. I especially enjoy the mechanic where we can raise our own dragons, and are incentives to complete certain challenges in order to 'hatch/grow' the dragon---and so on. There will be new classes to explore and (presumably) new modes down the road. I'm cautiously optimistic to see where this goes.

Overall though It's very impressive especially on Day 1. My friend group and I all decided to support the devs in hopes that they can really make this into something big and great. We will definitely be binging this all weekend
