The concept of assessment is very significant in teaching. It has many purposes, and as teachers we will have to assess our students frequently, either to grade them or to know the current level of knowledge that they have. As we previously mentioned, an assessment is not only a physical test. We can say that the concept can be seen in three different ways: assessment as a process, assessment as an instrument, and assessment as a system.
