Toxic ♥♥♥♥ game

If you have AMD GPU do not buy this game. The game does not support AMD graphics cards. No matter what you do the game will chop, freeze, and eventually fall to 2-6 fps when it becomes unplayable.

Some optimizations may be delivered, but it the end it would be just by luck if it helps AMD users.

This is tough game to comment.
It is step forward compared to Savage, Savage Resurrection, Nuclear Dawn, and Natural Selection.
I am great fan of RTS and FPS hybrids, since they bring interesting non linear games where RTS players are full-busy (need to maintain at most 5-6 parallel actions), while FPS players enjoy ever changing field of new buildings, walls, trenches.
Eximius brings in the modern battlefield with tanks and infantry commanders. Tanks cant be driven (they are the RTS players right to fun, like in company of heroes). The FPS players fun is their suits. The game concept is honestly fun, the in-game feeling is alright, controls work well and the graphics is quite good. The game supports "normal" victory points game type, and solo-coop survival modes

So what is the problem? The problem is player base. These kind of games depend on the player count. This is the reason why I cant recommend the game.
The reason why the game is on positive review side for me, it is because of the BOTs. The game is playable with bots, and RTS players are not limited to only human players, they can create normal RTS units and either control them directly, or attach them to FPS player.
BOTs know and control well every role (RTS, or FPS). Well FPS bots are, well bots, you have to guide them on their actions.
For me the BOTs are the revolution in this game type, all the others games do not support bot, and without bots RTS role is crap (it is quite frustrating when you are RTS player and have no resources, or your super op commanders are mining stone T.T. Imagine playing RTS games and your OP infantry unit is uncontrollable, and dies every 3 seconds :D, well at least they dont cost resources to resurrect).
The balance in this game is not perfect, the balance can only be perfected after longs hours of gameplay (like age of empires II, or starcraft). The balance is focused on longer fights (no one taps :D, destructibles have a lot of HP, bases cannot be rushed). The devs implemented different anti-snowball mechanics, so players can always turn the game around.
I am not sure if this game will survive, but you can still experience it offline and have fun, or join the discord on some public events.
I am honestly a bit sad, since I really wanted this game to bloom, but at least it is a complete game.

Excellent, child friendly game.
I true, proper adventure game with friends.
Kept me awake for few nights.

Bad game concept.

Yet another abandonware.

Best way to describe DOTA is to compare it with a pile of ♥♥♥♥. No matter how much you wrap a pile of ♥♥♥♥ in nice clothing it will still be ♥♥♥♥ inside.

There is nothing you can learn from this game. There is no fun you can have in this game. It is better to just play some random MMORPG game, that is how low this game is. Scripting, hacking, unfair advantages, various forms of cheating and there is simply nothing to be done, since there is no transparency and you are left in the dark.

The best thing about this game is to simply delete it.

It has amazing campaign atmosphere.
The graphics, game-play and immersion are wonderful too.
The compatibility with older PC-s amazing too.

It is good RTS game. It does not have large groundbreaking features, but it is a step forward with its small inovations (age advancement, small unit spells, <s>formations have some meaning like spears standing hold</s> , every unit costing food, different yet similar amazing civilizations). The price can be justified simply because of effort put into immersion.

The multiplayer is waste of time. People will drop immediately, on first signs of trouble etc. You have no say in this, they just drop and leave your last 30 mins of gameplay to garbage.
Certain quality of life have to be present for positive review:

1. Player cannot surrender. The team should have a surrender vote. This will allow the team to come to decision to stop the game.

2. Player who disconnects gains penalty (penalty points, low priority queue, cool off time, etc. Disconnecting from games has to have penalty. Depending on game type player knows what he commits to, up to 90 minutes of gameplay). This is a must, the penalty has to be increasing as per usual multiplayer standards. Some will say that it is unfair when internet or connectivity issues, but especially those have to be penalized. Fairness can be achieved with good and bad points accumulation.

Since the two points do not exist, multiplayer is waste of time, unless ofcourse you have friends you play with.

Nice total annihilation/supreme commander type of RTS game.

Awesome RTS. Polished and with content.

Awful game regarding multiplayer. You want to play against other people? No first you have to watch about 16 hours of you tube videos so you are aware of all awful ways to play this game.
And of course, unless you are playing exactly in that way down to millisecond, you will lose.
