Attention, all you twisted souls out there! If you're craving a sadistic gaming experience, brace yourselves for the wicked world of Dying Light 2. With over 310 hours of twisted pleasure, this open-world nightmare will test your sanity and revel in your screams. Picture a decaying city infested with ravenous zombies, where every step could be your last. Engage in brutal, bone-crunching combat, relishing in the agony you inflict upon your enemies. Make choices that tear the fabric of morality, reveling in the chaos and despair that unfold. So, gather your dark desires, for Dying Light 2 is the playground where sadism reigns supreme.

Great game overall. At the time I purchased it, the price was only about $8.00-$9.00 USD so I feel I got an excellent deal considering how much content the game has, and how polished it is. There are a few mechanics that feel generic but that's not necessarily a problem with the game itself but rather this particular genre (Zombie-survival/free-roam/story/etc.)
Multiplayer interactions are well done, and the community is welcoming of new players, and also a great source of user-made content such as maps, missions, etc.

Highly Recommended

Not being a massive fan of the previous Fallout games in the series (but obsessed with The Elder Scrolls side of Bethesda since Morrowind); I imagined that this would be a game I play through once, maybe rack-up about 30-40 hours max and then put back down, like so many other games in my library...

THIS COULDN'T HAVE BEEN FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH.

At the time of this review, I have about 730 hours total (with about 80 these past two weeks). I don't see myself slowing down for at least a few more months.

Pros:
• Massive world with tons of content & excellent replayability.
• Workshop support, and active modding community add even more to the above point.
• (Relevant to above) Most issues/unsatisfactory features of the game can be fixed or improved with a simple mod install.
• Well polished story-line that keeps you in your seat, always urging to do that next quest to find out more.
• Interesting characters/stories/backgrounds and dialog. Suprising amount of variations in NPC behaviors and appearances.

Neutral:
• It's everything you would come to expect of an excellent Bethesda title, and more. (This depends on your view/experience of the company and their products.) This is just to say that it is very much a 'close to home' game for those of you familiar with this genre and developer.

Cons:
• Quests/missions can get a little repetitive in the sense of the diversity in objectives. (This is expected of this series and not a huge deal to me.)
• To get the most out of the new visuals and effects, a relatively powerful rig is required. However it does scale down for lesser systems quite well.)

This game is one of the best I have ever played, hands down. Wether you're a fan of "The Walking Dead" universe or not, the game captivates you by bringing you to the forefront of difficult decision-making, and connects you with the characters in ways that I do not believe have ever been accomplished before. While playing this game you are not a player making mundane game-choices. You BECOME the character, and each decision you make will forge the story into a custom-tailored sinematic experience full of suspense and puzzle-solving. Sprinkle in some random life-or-death, 3-nanosecond game-changing moments and you have an experience that you will not soon forget, I guarantee it.

Fun game. The "Breakdown" DLC is almost funner than the actual story mode in my opinion.
