This game is like a soft and familiar, pillowy pair of arms that embrace you after a long and hard day. They're welcoming, quick to alleviate you of your troubles. Their fingers comb through your hair like vaseline smeared teflon. You are home. You are relaxed. Your breathing remains calm, steady and full. But the arms then tighten around your chest. It's a bit harder to breath now. The fingers that once so tenderly caressed your locks now link each other like flesh gears. Tighter again.
"This game was supposed to calm me down!", you think as you thrash wildly against the grip. Your pulse spikes and throttles your chest. The arms are now cracking your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ribs as you let out muffled screams into the ambiguous body. Blood drips down your chin as your lungs pop inside your inner cavity like Bezo's own brand bubble wrap. Your brain roars for oxygen but you can't get any as the lungs that once took it all in are clogging up your trachea. The figure throws your body down and stamps on your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ head.

What was once a warm embrace has ended with your head being caved in. Blood is everywhere, your ghost is thrashing into the clouds where you shall sit in purgatory, asking yourself why you would trust an embrace so warm, but all the same one you never deserved.

What I just described is what playing The Binding of Isaac truly feels like.

And for that I cannot truly recommend it enough. I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ love this game.
