Very repetitive gameplay. Go to spot X come back, now go to spot Y and come back, now spot Z and come back to the exact same place every time. Being forced to take the same routes over and over again gets boring fast, especially with having to do them in VR. The story is also as shallow as the gameplay.
It would have been great if it was like the first game, "zen exploration" as another user put it.
That being said, the hook mechanics do feel better on this one, but that's about it for good things to say about this game.

Game isn't afraid to make you OP, killing everything without moving, but then you die to someone sneezing on you 5 hours in.

The character movement is so fuild and rewarding that you will see yourself playing the game countless times just to move and jump around. There are also lots of great and challenging community created levels that you should definitely try out if you like challenges, since the devs didn't make the original levels too challenging.
