2 Hours in, first experience review.

This looked and felt even before it came out - Brandon & his team did a great job just at showcasing the possibilites. I expected a completely different game after the first video of "Gun physics", but I'm not disappointed. The idea, atmosphere, setting - are just great. Found the first easter egg, nice legs btw.

The physics are just as presented - amazing. Revolutionary, I'd say. Heavy objects ARE heavy and you gotta remember that when dealing with them.

Maybe it's me or just Oculus things, but I couldn't really grab a ledge and push myself onto it, so I guess no climbing in that way? Had to find different methods to do a simple thing, like putting boxes or finding another, higher spot to grab.

Pros:

- Excellent physics
- Very well made... well, everything
- Interesting story (yes, 2 hours is what I need to see if it's gonna be nice)
- Some things just keep coming into gameplay that make my jaw drop, like the "Prepare thyself" moment. That was very nice of you, SL0.

There are more pros that I'm currently not ready to list, so wait for a second review.

Cons:

- Janky locomotion and player movement, but blame that on realistic physics.
- Ledge grabbing. Gotta research that.
- Heavy CPU usage? Can't say for sure, im getting bottlenecked anyway, but there is some occasional stuttering. Maybe it's a problem on my side.
- Can't really throw stuff with as much force as I intend to. Can't say if it's the VR restriction of speed, but either way it's not that tragic.

Another review coming after game completion.

Oculus Rift CV1
GTX 2070 SUPER
Intel i5-9600K

Thanks for another motivation keep playing VR!

There's just too much to say about it. In short, a must-have experience for social people. You meet all kinds of people, ranging from a drop-out kid with his own adventure stories to elderly grandpas who you will remember for the rest of your life.
10/10 for the interactions
10/10 for the community
