I've been a huge fan of fromsoftware games, played every dark souls, love bloodborne, over 1000 hours in elden ring.
was skeptical since the lead dev is different from actual Elden Ring but these were some problems I have with the game:

Forced Multiplayer With Randoms, NO OPTION FOR SINGLE PLAYER OR DUO WITH FRIEND
EXTREMELY REPETITIVE
NO NEW WEAPONS (exact same from elden ring)
60 fps cap on top of it running poorly is not great

Overall this should have just been a small DLC for Elden Ring, seems like an actual cash grab to try to make this a $40 new game.

didnt change character posture and character runs all hunchback and cant make new save, have to pay $1.99 after i spent $70 on this game... what a joke

repetitive, servers are horrible, anticheat has rootkit, still pproblems stuck in loading. not worth $40

better than diablo

full of AI.. good luck having your friends shoot you in the back too

i've been supporting new world since it was in alpha and played 1000's of hours through most alpha tests, beta, and launch for over 400 hours as well and I can say that without a doubt Amazon Games Studios is an absolute disaster.. They have no experience with mmos let alone any popular games. Gold dupes ruining economy, invincible pvp bugs that arent fixed for weeks and delays with patches and updates just make no longer playable.. Trust me there's no hope for this game, just look at Scot Lane, their game director and all their failed games, the last game he worked on was WWE All Stars 10 years ago

Thought I'd try it even though the reviews weren't so great. Unfortunately the game just doesn't feel finished or very well optimized. It's a nice concept setting and graphics are good as well but the combat is lacking. you aren't told where to go so you're stuck on a confusing map forced to crawl through 10 tunnels and fight AI that will either be bugged on top of a rock swinging, or have their back turned and still manage to swing and hit you, which on top of not being able to block ends up being a poor experience. If you have that Dark Souls itch, simply ignore this game and actually play dark souls 3

very repetitive, capped at 60fps, characters are not balanced at all, prepare to be assassinated over and over, not worth $30

got wrongfully eac banned for cheating and I have never cheated on any game, will change review if ban is lifted

ALL PROMPTS ARE FOR XBOX CONTROLLER! To see controls you have to constantly check settings for keyboard controls. no way to change this or even mod to change prompts as its hardcoded into the game. From menus to gameplay everything can be very confusing and not very friendly to new players, especially with the poor PC port
