As someone who has played just a tiny bit of this game (on the order of 4k hours) I'd like to give you a look into the typical smite game:

Step 1:
Match queue pops.
Step 2:
Your entire team instalocks assassins.
Step 3:
You lose and everyone BMs you for it.
Step 4:
Cry
Step 5:
Queue again
