After having "finished" the game (finished in quotes due to the huge amount of secrets and postgame content the game has to offer), I realized a meme review doesn't cut it.

I first found out about Void Stranger through a single screenshot (the "carcass", if you know you know), and while my expectations at first were on the low side, it didn't take long for the game to make me fall in love with it. The pixel art looks great, the soundtrack is incredible, and the story sucks you in as soon as you get the very first bits. By the end of the tutorial (which isn't really a tutorial but rather a quite lenghty first part of the game) I couldn't stop anymore, I simply had to crack all the secrets the game has to offer.

Void Stranger is definitely a game I would recommend to anybody to at the very least try. While the puzzle solving aspect can be off-putting for some people (I myself am not a huge fan of sokoban-style games), I would still recommend to give it a shot, as the game is a unique experience. Puzzles never feel unfair (well, excluding a single one during the final part of the game which requires you to pause the game a few times despite not giving you any real hint on what to do), and when you feel stuck, finally reaching the solution is an incredible feeling.

For finishers, I strongly recommend keeping notes, taking screenshots and even using Paint or similar tools while playing. Maybe you won't understand why at first, but in time everything will be clear. Don't ask how I know.

Comfy little gem, definitely worth its price. The platforming is done greatly, with a soundtrack that works incredibly well, the artstyle is just lovely and the whole atmosphere is extremely comfy, thanks to the adorable characters too. Do give it a try if you find yourself looking for a short but rewarding platformer

The game itself is ok, it's Nexon the problem. The way they handle the game is absolutely ridiculous, and the latest ban wave following an event didn't surely help. If you got hit by that, or if you'll ever have any problem, good luck contacting the support, as it's the worst you'll ever find.
