If you're having problems running this game on your Windows 10 PC, try updating your system. If your system is up to date and you're still having issues, go to the game's local files (C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Steam\\steamapps\\common\\Cars) and find the exe file (should be "Cars.exe"). Then go to its properties and use the compatibility mode (Windows 7 or lower). Also try setting it to run as administrator. If it still doesn't work or you can't find the file (unlikely) try checking for missing files through game's properties in the Steam library


Onto the actual review:

As you can probably guess, I have played this game in my childhood. For there is a sale now, I decided to buy it for myself and check if I'll still have so much fun playing it after all those years. Honestly, I wasn't disappointed. I finished it in one sitting (main story). Game plays great, the story's engaging enough to keep you racing and better, dialogues and side characters are fun, side missions are quite fun. The locations are well designed, driving model is very arcady but good. Puts you well in the world of Cars. Only things I can complain about is questionable crash physics, rather low difficulty level (it's a kids' game so it's forgivable, definitelly try setting your profile name in-game as "CHMPION", it will increase the difficulty quite a bit) and outdated graphics (they still hold up quite well with the cartoony style). I'd recommend buying it on sale, 20 bucks is a little much for a 14-year-old game. Great game if you're looking for something for your kid to play, if you wanna refresh your childhood memories of playing it or if you wanna buy a game for a person interested in the Cars franchise.
