Resident Evil 2 Remake is a reimagining of the classic survival horror game originally released in 1998. Developed by Capcom, this modern remake features updated graphics, new gameplay mechanics, and a reworked storyline that stays true to the original while also offering new twists and surprises.

One of the first things that stands out about Resident Evil 2 Remake is its stunning graphics. The game features incredibly detailed environments, character models, and visual effects that create a hauntingly beautiful atmosphere. The game's sound design is equally impressive, with an eerie soundtrack and terrifying sound effects that help build tension and create a sense of dread.

The game is split into two different campaigns, one for protagonist Leon S. Kennedy and one for Claire Redfield, both of whom are trying to survive a zombie outbreak in Raccoon City. The two campaigns offer different perspectives on the story and feature unique gameplay elements that make each one feel distinct. Players can also unlock a third campaign after completing both Leon and Claire's storylines, featuring a new character named Ada Wong.

In terms of gameplay, Resident Evil 2 Remake delivers a solid experience. The game combines elements of survival horror and action, with players having to scavenge for resources while also fighting off hordes of enemies. The game's puzzles are also well-designed, providing a good challenge without being frustrating. The game's combat is visceral and satisfying, with a variety of weapons and upgrades available to customize your playstyle.

The game's story is engaging and well-written, with plenty of twists and turns to keep players on the edge of their seats. The game's narrative is also tied into the wider Resident Evil universe, with nods to previous games and characters making appearances throughout. Without giving away too much, the game's ending sets up some interesting possibilities for future installments in the series.

One of the most impressive aspects of Resident Evil 2 Remake is its level design. The game takes place in and around the Raccoon City Police Department, which has been overrun by zombies and other monsters. The level design is expertly crafted, with each area offering a unique gameplay experience. From the dark, claustrophobic hallways of the police station to the wide-open streets outside, each area is designed to keep players on their toes and provide a sense of danger and tension.

One potential downside to Resident Evil 2 Remake is its difficulty. While the game can be played on a variety of difficulty levels, even the normal difficulty can be quite challenging at times. Some players may find themselves getting frustrated at the game's more difficult sections, which require precise timing and quick reflexes. However, for those who enjoy a good challenge, the game's difficulty is a plus.

Another potential issue with Resident Evil 2 Remake is its length. The game can be completed in around 8-10 hours, which may disappoint some players who were expecting a longer experience. However, the game's high replayability factor makes up for this, with players able to unlock new game modes and items by completing the game multiple times.

Overall, Resident Evil 2 Remake is a fantastic reimagining of the classic survival horror game. With its stunning graphics, well-crafted level design, engaging story, and solid gameplay, the game is sure to please both long-time fans and newcomers alike. While its difficulty and length may be an issue for some players, these minor flaws are more than outweighed by the game's strengths. If you're a fan of survival horror games, Resident Evil 2 Remake is a must-play title that delivers a chilling and unforgettable experience.

Total War: WARHAMMER III is the latest installment in the Total War series, developed by Creative Assembly and published by SEGA. As a fan of both the Total War franchise and the Warhammer Fantasy universe, I was excited to dive into this game and explore all it had to offer. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint.

The first thing that struck me about Total War: WARHAMMER III was its sheer scope. This is a massive game, with four distinct factions to choose from, each with its own unique playstyle and units. The factions include the Kislev, a human nation that excels in ranged combat and defensive tactics; the Cathay, an Eastern-inspired faction with powerful magic and versatile units; the Daemons of Chaos, a horde of monstrous and otherworldly creatures led by the four Chaos Gods; and the Khorne, a faction focused on melee combat and bloodthirsty rage.

Each faction is incredibly detailed and fleshed out, with a rich history and lore that will appeal to Warhammer fans. The units are also well-designed and visually stunning, with a variety of creatures ranging from giant ice bears to armored elephants to flying dragons. The battles themselves are epic in scale, with hundreds of units clashing on the battlefield at once. The attention to detail in the graphics and animations is impressive, and watching the battles unfold is a feast for the eyes.

But Total War: WARHAMMER III is more than just a pretty game. The gameplay mechanics are deep and complex, requiring strategy and careful planning to succeed. Each faction has its own unique campaign objectives, and players must balance their expansion and military ambitions with the need to maintain public order and manage their economy. The battles themselves are also challenging, with terrain, weather, and unit abilities all playing a role in determining the outcome.

One of the standout features of Total War: WARHAMMER III is the magic system. Each faction has access to a variety of spells, which can be used to buff units, debuff enemies, or deal direct damage. Learning how to use magic effectively is crucial to success, as it can turn the tide of a battle in an instant. The spells themselves are beautifully animated, and the effects on the battlefield are impressive.

Another new addition to the game is the Realm of Chaos. This is a separate map that players can access after completing certain objectives in the campaign. The Realm of Chaos is a dangerous and unpredictable place, filled with powerful enemies and rare resources. But the rewards are worth the risk, as players can acquire powerful artifacts and recruit unique units that are not available in the regular campaign.

The campaign map itself is also impressive, with a variety of terrain types and settlements to conquer. Each settlement has its own unique features and buildings, which can be upgraded to provide bonuses to the faction's economy, military, or magic. The diplomacy system is also robust, allowing players to form alliances, trade agreements, and non-aggression pacts with other factions. But beware, as betrayals and backstabbing are common in the world of Warhammer.

One of the few drawbacks to Total War: WARHAMMER III is the AI. While the enemy AI is competent, the same cannot be said for the friendly AI. Allies are often unreliable and prone to making foolish decisions, which can be frustrating for players who are trying to coordinate their armies. The campaign AI can also be predictable at times, with factions following a set pattern of behavior that can make the game feel repetitive.

Overall, Total War: WARHAMMER III is an excellent addition to the Total War franchise and a must-play for fans of the Warhammer universe. The attention to detail in the graphics and animations is impressive,, and the gameplay mechanics are deep and engaging. The addition of new factions, units, and the Realm of Chaos adds even more replay value to an already massive game. The only real downside is the sometimes unreliable AI, but this can be overlooked given the overall quality of the game. If you're a fan of strategy games or the Warhammer universe, Total War: WARHAMMER III is definitely worth your time and money.

Crusader Kings 3 is the latest addition to the popular strategy game series developed by Paradox Development Studio. The game, released on Steam in September 2020, takes you back to the medieval world of politics, warfare, and intrigue. As a player, you control a dynasty of rulers, leading them to glory and fame while managing their relations, scheming against enemies, waging wars, expanding territories, and ensuring the continuation of your family through marriage and offspring.

The game is set in the year 867 or 1066, and you can choose to play as a Christian, Pagan, Muslim, or any other religion, each with its unique mechanics and challenges. The game's attention to detail is impressive, with each character being a complex individual with personalities, traits, and ambitions that influence their actions and the world around them.

The game's mechanics are easy to learn but hard to master. The tutorial is well done, introducing you to the game's mechanics without feeling overwhelming. However, as you progress, you will find that there is always something new to learn, something new to master, and something new to discover. The game's depth is impressive, with many mechanics that interact with each other in complex ways. For example, you must manage your kingdom's economy, deal with factions, balance your vassals' power, and navigate the intricate web of diplomacy and alliances.

One of the most impressive features of Crusader Kings 3 is the map, which spans across Europe, Africa, and Asia, with over 15,000 counties to conquer and rule. The game's replayability is immense, with every playthrough offering a unique experience based on your choices, the game's mechanics, and the world's events.

The graphics are beautiful, and the sound design is excellent, from the clashing of swords to the dramatic music that accompanies your victories and defeats. The user interface is intuitive and customizable, allowing you to tailor your gaming experience to your liking.

The game's AI is also impressive, with characters making decisions based on their personality, traits, and goals. The AI will form alliances, wage wars, and even scheme against you, adding a layer of challenge and unpredictability to the gameplay.

The game's modding community is also thriving, with many mods that add new mechanics, events, and even entire new scenarios. The game's developer, Paradox, is also known for its support of mods, with an active modding community and a dedicated modding tool.

The game's attention to detail and mechanics makes it an excellent game for players who enjoy deep, complex games. The game's unique combination of role-playing, strategy, and management creates a gameplay experience that is both immersive and addictive. However, the game's steep learning curve may make it less accessible to newcomers to the series.

Crusader Kings 3 is a game that rewards careful planning, patience, and strategy. The game's character-driven focus means that every decision you make has consequences, and you must balance your short-term goals with your long-term ambitions. The game's depth and complexity mean that you will always find something new to discover, and every playthrough will offer a unique experience.

The game's diplomacy and marriage mechanics are also impressive, allowing you to form alliances, make friends, and even marry into other dynasties. The game's emphasis on family and lineage means that you must carefully manage your relationships and ensure the continuation of your family through marriage and offspring.

The game's military mechanics are also well done, allowing you to raise armies, wage wars, and conquer territories. The game's combat system is not as detailed as some other strategy games, but it is still satisfying to watch your armies clash on the battlefield.

The game's economy and management mechanics are also impressive, requiring you!

to manage your kingdom's finances, appoint competent council members, and ensure the prosperity of your lands. You must balance your expenses with your income, invest in infrastructure and technology, and deal with the occasional crisis such as a famine, plague, or invasion.

The game's events and decisions are also well written and varied, with many choices that have both immediate and long-term consequences. From choosing a spouse to dealing with rebellions, the game offers a vast array of decisions that test your skills as a ruler.

One of the game's most significant improvements over its predecessor, Crusader Kings 2, is the streamlined interface and mechanics. The game is easier to navigate, and the mechanics are more intuitive, making it easier for newcomers to the series to get into the game. The game's tutorial is also well done, allowing you to learn the basics of the game without feeling overwhelmed.

However, the game's AI is not perfect, and there are occasional bugs and glitches that can affect the gameplay. The game's performance can also suffer on lower-end machines, and the loading times can be lengthy, especially in the later stages of the game.

In conclusion, Crusader Kings 3 is a well-crafted game that offers a deep and immersive gameplay experience. The game's attention to detail, mechanics, and storytelling make it a standout title in the strategy game genre. The game's emphasis on character-driven gameplay and family management creates a unique and addictive experience that keeps players engaged for hours on end.

The game's graphics and sound design are also impressive, immersing you in the medieval world of politics and warfare. The game's replayability is immense, with each playthrough offering a unique experience based on your choices and the game's mechanics.

However, the game's steep learning curve may make it less accessible to newcomers to the series, and the occasional bugs and glitches can affect the gameplay. The game's AI could also be improved to offer more challenging opponents and more unpredictable events.

Despite these minor drawbacks, Crusader Kings 3 is a must-play for strategy game fans who enjoy deep, complex gameplay and an immersive storytelling experience. The game's unique combination of role-playing, strategy, and management creates a gameplay experience that is both challenging and rewarding, offering hours of gameplay that will keep you coming back for more.

Prayer
O keeper of the light, guide our darkened path with your radiance. We are your warriors and we are servants to thee, we stand free from blindness of heart, free from hypocrisy, vainglory and deceits, but captive to hatred, malice and anger, to the filth, the alien, the heretic.
