Hits all the nostalga points, but it's been so long that it truly feels like a new game.

A classic of FPS quick twitch gaming. Definitely hits the nostalgia factor beautifully. Still a good game, though somehow I seem to remember most of the puzzles. I remember a few of them being particularly obnoxious back when the game was new.

It's every bit as involved as Skyrim, Fallout, or Oblivion. I enjoy getting to discover so much of it on my own. And if I ever do get stuck, there are a hundred different youtube walkthroughs for ships and outposts

Wow, once again the Valve team knocks it out of the park. Having just completed this, I'm going to go back and replay through HL1 (probably Black Mesa Source actually), HL2, and the episodes. If you own a VR headset and you aren't playing this game, please reconsider your life choices. If you don't own a VR headset, it is worth considering changing that if you can find a good deal on one. I played with the original HTC Vive and it was phenomenal.

A fantastic remake of the original Half-Life in the source engine, Black Mesa is what Half-Life:Source should have been. If you missed the first one somehow, just play this!

Definitely a great buy for VR games. It's a great puzzle game to show off to people who have never seen VR before, but is complex enough to have infinite replay value. I got to play a beta version of this game before it was available, and as a result, bought it. The lower levels are fantastic no stress puzzles, ramping up in intensity the more you play. Each level is also quick, so you can have friends over and easily take turns playing together.
