You commented on my profile saying if I know about Alec's music making programs, sadly, I never got an answer from him. I asked around saying if they knew, most did not, but some told me he used a keyboard for most of the work and the actual program he used was for mostly edits and minor stuff. That program in question? I would tell you if I knew.

I only really make music as a hobby, and that is kind of a stretch. I play on my keyboard here and there, but for making music, I mostly use Beepbox, it is simple but has a heavy focus on chiptune like music (it has other option though). I heard Musecore is pretty nice, but is something that is foreign for me and is for general music making, not game specific.

Sorry if this is a bit of a disappointing answer. If you have any more question, I might know an answer, but its up in the air. I hope you can find a good music composing program and good luck on it!
