Fun horde shooter that has excellent controls - movement and combat feels great. Better with friends, playing with randoms is what you'd expect.

Lots of frame drops however. I have a pretty strong computer and even on the lowest settings I can't maintain a smooth frame rate when there's more than 7-ish enemies on screen.

can't change location of install on launcher, didn't realize it was installing to my SSD until I saw the available space draining. after uninstalling the demo, the half-installed files are still taking up space on my SSD. nice.

even besides that, the game is disrespectful of my time and frankly feels like a kick in the face trying to play any mission above difficulty 6. it's just not that fun

insanely unique game mechanics and a lot of fun to play! was actually shocked at many things as I played for the first few times.

I think it's a bit of a shame that it takes a FAIR amount of playtime to actually unlock anything new, I've done a few runs now and only just unlocked a new background. would love to see the new characters and stuff and do the timed mode, but I'll have to keep playing for now.

still highly recommended for the price! great game, never seen anything like this before.

great follow-up to the original steins;gate

the writing ( especially so in the 0 true ending, it was extremely short and had less info than i expected compared to the original game ) wasn't as good as the first, but it really can't be since it's a nonlinear story that explores different possibilities of the original true ending.

still highly recommended for fans of the original, and I had a great time reading

one of the most perfect stories I have read in all of fiction, and I do not say that lightly

Really awesome graphics and thematic presentation. The voice acting and character designs really add a lot to the world. The atmosphere is very much reminiscent of Dark Souls, and does it well. The first boss fight was an exciting moment breaking into the open world.

Unfortunately, the game just doesn't work well. My arms constantly get stuck to each other, where I'm forced to drop my shield or sword just to get my hand back, or my arms will be spread apart for no discernible reason. The same happens when you engage in combat and get anywhere near your opponent. Your shield/sword will collide with them and their armor and it's just a huge jumbled mess.

The running is also near useless. You have to swing your arms in such a wide motion at great speeds to even get one second of sprinting and frankly should be a much smaller window, or disabled entirely in lieu of a run button. I like the concept, but it gets old real fast.

It was really cool to see the addition of magic in this game with a staff and drawing runes, although the concept is either explained very poorly or is not calibrated. If you move the staff forwards while drawing at all it immediately cancels, and isn't explained why. Drawing the rune was also extremely inconsistent on getting a cast or not. I couldn't imagine trying to do this during combat where you're moving around.

I was really excited for this game, and would be happy to play it again if the collision and some aspects could really be tuned in. This game has a lot of promise, but as of right now I would not recommend playing this game.

dev clearly enjoys dark souls and seeing the small references is cool
