I played this game in the twelfth year, when I was an average schoolboy. I remember very well the atmospheric servers of Sources, these wonderful sincere dialogues with uncles, aunts and with schoolchildren like me at that time. Previously, this part of CS captured most of the world, it was played wherever possible. The situation is similar with cs 1.6, but everything is completely different here. If in 1.6 there were only grandfathers, and men who came from the factory to play cs 1.6, then the situation is slightly different. Here the community is more diverse, even to this day.

What should you start with? First, let's talk about the pros and cons of this part of this toy! I want to warn you right away, your and my opinion on this matter may differ significantly. Thank you in advance for your attention to this part of the context.


I think it's not a secret for anyone that almost absolutely any computer or laptop will pull this game. Now the situation with the prices of video cards and conventional components is extremely problematic. Playing good shooters at minimum settings with drawdowns is suicide. Everyone knows that FPS matters, and so, any potato will pull Source because, in my opinion, optimization is extremely good here. Moreover, everyone will want to remember, or rather feel the emotions that they experienced back in 2004.

The most interesting of all the characteristics of the source is the community. The people here are completely different, if in 1.6 there are mostly men under forty or fifty years old, in go there are mostly only schoolchildren or students, all age categories play in Sources. I am not kidding. Do you want to listen to the story of life? A hard worker "straight" from the factory will talk about the hard life in Russia. Or if you want to bully someone, little schoolboys are at your service.
Do not believe it, you want to listen to the scandals? Yes, to health, you can piss off the entire server with one phrase! And you will be slandered by both schoolchildren and grandfathers who should retire. What is there to describe it? Schoolchildren and old-timers can unite in order to overcome a common enemy - you. True, in case you pissed them off)) How much I play go, I played and rarely play 1.6, I realized one thing - there are quite a lot of girls in Sources, here is a spitting image of a dating site; D. To be serious, the community here is very rich, which is a huge plus for me.

Like it or not, the graphics for 2004 are very juicy here. Somewhere I saw the news that you can roll up mods for Sources and the graphics will be many times better, I don’t know if this is true or not, because the graphics here are really good - don’t tear your eyes out like in 1.6. True, the color filter in Sours hurts the eyes a little. Especially on Dust. But these are trifles.

Definitely the shooting here is normal. I don’t give a damn if someone writes under this review, they say shooting at the source ram. In 1.6, the recoil seems to be shooting from a bazooka, a rifle or a pistol twitches very dumbly when shooting with taps (it’s also shooting at one bullet). Sours is clearly in the lead here, Recoil can be controlled, but I will add from myself - the weapon is not a laser gun.

Quite a good sound, of course it could be better, but ... Kamon, this is 2004! Here, by the sound, you feel that you are shooting from a weapon, you can hear the steps of your opponents well.


I wanted to go to the server, I look - something is loaded. I think: Oh, okay, I’ll go to the toilet on a small one, I’ll just boot up. I did all the work like that, I go to the laptop and see: even half of the strip did not load. I'm standing with a face like this yellow cyclops, (like the corporation of monsters is called) whoever saw the meme will understand. I then went to the kitchen, took sweets, poured apple juice and went back to the laptop - I see, about 30 percent loaded! Having managed to eat and drink juice, throwing out the candy wrappers, I came again for a laptop - not a ** pa has changed. I waited another 15 minutes from above, then successfully booted up and realized one thing: I downloaded the pack with anime models. I have no words. In general, you need to look for servers that are virgin, without mods for weapons / models of Persians.

I would like to praise on my own behalf some servers that make the rules that the microphone is 16+ or even 18+, if a pot-bellied little thing said something to her, a mute immediately arrives for several months or weeks. There are servers that allow schoolchildren to tell only important information, where the enemy is, for example, or to speak out about the suspicion of a player.


Insanely cool part of the cs series, with its pluses and minuses. You can sit like a lamp, you can take a ♥♥♥♥ with someone, you can mock the <skill> of admins, here you can do whatever you want. Here you can find a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fly for yourself, this is a universal game, and laughter and sin, as they say. I recommend this game, definitely. Somewhere, the Sources step over their father 1.6 and their little brother go. Each series has its pros and cons, but the source seems to me a more positive game, more beautiful than 1.6 u go. Occasionally I go to play the source, I wander around the servers and see completely different people. I see completely different servers in terms of meaning, somewhere they play seriously somewhere in rofl. If go is mostly played for fun (I'm talking specifically about public servers, not about official servers), in 1.6 on sour soup, then people can combine both qualities in themselves, and b * u * ka it's very cool. Someone after reading this review may think they say I'm an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of this series, but no. I play more go, because it is more familiar to me, but I do not intend to leave Source.
