This is a funny game, one of the funniest ones i've played.
PROS:
+Funny death system, from blowing yourself up in a car, to drowning in a pool.
+Its movement system is smooth as the baby.
+They added splitscreen, connect a xbox controller to your PC, you can play whos your daddy with 2 controllers or a keyboard and a xbox controller split-screen.
+Great way to custom your character
CONS:
-Really buggy.
-REALLY Overpowered baby. its so easy to lose as the dad, the baby can't be picked up by the dad and the dad should be able to pick up the baby for at least 5 seconds to make it fair.
WHAT I'D LIKE TO SEE ADDED:
A gamemode where the baby has a hunger and water bar and the dad has to keep them hydrated and fed while trying to protect them from death until a time limit goes out. would be called "Babys hungry"
A new map. In a building not a house would be fun, so would a grocey store. a gunshop would be so damn funny, a infant running around with a shotgun
OVERALL
7/10. It needs some work on bug fixes and they should add some stuff, but its not a bad game, its a very funny one, i really like it, its good to waste time on and have a laugh with friends.

This game gets so much hate in these reviews that i have decided to write a more lengthy one. So i know many will click dislike just because it's a positive review.
Haters gonna hate so let's go on now with my view on this game.

Disclaimer:
+ This is an RPG (role playing game) with Diablo-ish loot system and set up in 3rd person shooter style. This is an 3rd person RPG, not your usual 3rd person shooter!

What you get for your money?

The good
+ The usual tiers of loot, normal, rare, legendary, set with different names (worn, standard, superior, high-end)
+ A skill tree and different specialities that influence the way your char plays
+ A crafting system
+ An immersive post-pandemic world setup in New York
+ Play some co-op action with your friends or randoms
+ Around 100h of single player (or co-op) gameplay before you even move to the PvP area (if you even want to move there)
+ Beautiful graphics if you have a decent computer

The bad
- There are still bugs, but not many that i encountered so far
- AI is quite stupid most of the times
- Missions become quite repetitive after a while, not so much innovation
- Many cheaters in PvP so pretty much i'm ignoring this part of the game

In short this game might be for you if:
+ you like Diablo loot based system games
+ you want to try a Diablo "clone" in 3rd person shooter style with weapons and no magic
+ you want to play for around 40h before it will become repetitive
+ you're more into PvE and not PvP (PvP sucks in this game)
+ like in any other RPG you don't mind that you have to hit an enemy multiple times before it dies (only that here the sword hits are replaced by bullets - therefore the bullet sponges expression)

This game might not be for you if:
- you hate RPG style of enemies (bullet sponges) and expect to 1shot everybody
- you want to play an MMO PvP style of a 3rd person shooter
- you hate grinding for crafting materials and upgrades for your armor+weapons

I got my moneys worth and i don't regret buying it, but be aware of the things i wrote above before you take your decision and don't get fooled by all those negative reviews.
I had fun playing this RPG game, too bad it was advertised differently by UBI.

I bought Ryse for £39.99 on Xbox One and for £5 during the Christmas sales on PC. I had always wanted the game back in 2014 when it was released as always, other titles were in the way.

I am happy I never stumped up full price though as I can barely handle playing Ryse for longer than 10 minutes without quitting out of boredom/frustration. I truly feel sorry for those who paid full price for this rubbish.

Ryse plays like a tech demo. There is no doubt that Crytek are visual geniuses when it comes to their engines but this one, whilst looking good chugs away with massive framerate fluctuations everywhere. To add to this, the camera is dreadful at positioning, resulting in nothing but death during critical moments in combat.

Combat is incredibly repetitive (even moreso than a Warner Bros title i.e Mad Max, Batman, SoM). It involves mashing the attack and block button until the enemy has a skull icon over it's head - at which point you can initialise a FATALITY sequence. The enemy flashes blue and yellow so you press those buttons (if you're on a controller) and a 3-4 second dismemberment animation proceeds. Rinse and repeat for EACH enemy you fight. This isn't combat, it is torture!

Ryse may look good but there is practically zero depth to gameplay here. The story from the outset is established as a typical revenge one and the protangonist dull. You constantly engage the same enemies repeatedly - there are 4-5 types excluding bosses, so mix this in with the reptitive combat and you have a collosal heap of dung that even Ian Malcolm would be surprised at seeing.

I really want to like this game, but as stated I cannot manage to even play longer than 10 minutes at a time without becoming bored of button mashing and rubbish camera angles. I have read that it is a short game, which is a shame as I am a patient gamer and could hold on but the story just isn't there amongst many other things.

I wanted this game to be great and amazing, but it has become rotten egg...

Keeping this review really brief...because writing any more about this review is a waste of time. Game really doesn't have much depth or multi-layered depth. An example of a game that has multi-layered depth (combines different gameplay/game-mechanical features) is warframe.

Positives..
+Has a good UI for customizing mechs
+Graphics for mechs and Cockpit are done well
+Game runs well

Negatives
-Developer doesn't seem to know what to do with MWO. They changed Faction play into quickplay mapsmodes, some of which are horribly designed to work for Faction play
-No Salvage system like in other mechwarrior games
-No AI, except for static targets
-Game favors rewards based on kills/damage dealt, versus completing missions. I thought mechwarriors was suppose to be more than this?
-mission payouts are too low
-very repetative gameplay

In relation to the comments for further reading, more indepth reasoning for the negatives...

Salvage has been in nearly every mechwarrior game in some fashion. Winning a battle and being able to salvage a mech or being able to salvage parts for a mech could have great feature added to the game. It might have been outside the scope of the intial developement, but you do get salvage credits at the end of every match. They could be instead be used for further depth into MWO

AI added to the game let the developers add the escort mission into the game. Imagine if they could do far with AI to bring a sense of immersion into the game using a lot of the battletech units. Tanks fighting along side us mechwarriors as a simple example.

The negatives mentioned above in "negatives" list could have great impact on what MWO could become, but like stated ealier the developers seem do not know what to do with their IP. I am glad the timeline has been moved forward though, but then again some of the battlemechs added are in the wrong timeline.. (so does the timeline really matter?).

Great integration of RTS elements with a FPS action. Both "Heroes" and "Generals" parts of the game affect each other, making you valuable whichever one you choose to focus on.

Even though that creates uneven odds sometimes, so players should be prepared to face higher threats, but if you and your team are competent, you always stand a chance.

The combat is mainly about positioning, situational awareness and stealth, though aiming should be not disregarded at all.

The RTS part is quite simple and success depends on soldiers, but the point of commander is to make sure that his faction's troops have a fair or even a bit advantageous situation to guarantee victory in battle.

Soviet Simulator 2014.

According to this game, Russians live everywhere except for Russia itself.

Makes you racist towards Russians and if it doesn't do that then you're probably Russian yourself.

Gives you an innate aggression towards anyone who doesn't know how to play.

Did I mention Russians?
♥♥♥♥♥♥
Awkward when you realise that Roshan sounds like Russian...

GG WP Valve

10/10 Would abandon again.

Early Access Review
I don't know where to start with this review. I've tried to find other games to replace Rust with, I've gone through the store a thousand times and watched gameplays and read reviews and bought a lot of really crap games and nothing at all compares to the community you will find in Rust. You will hate it, then kinda like it and then get sucked right into it completely.

The characters you will meet will have you crying with laughter. From that random weirdo making sexual sounds at you when you hit a wood pile, to the angry russian who tells you their day will not be complete until they've killed you at least once.

You will meet groups that run around pretending to be detectives, or hobo killers, or KFC employees. You will find people who build clever run-throughs to trap players for their loot or large trap houses to keep other players as their pets and/or slaves.

Overall I believe this game is a 9/10 and it is definetely worth the money!

A neat little game, short but entertaining.

Best thing about it is the easily accessible crafting system. Gather stuff that you find all over the islands and combine them to powerful items. Manage your character and limited inventory space, find water and food so you don't starve, find shelter to sleep when you are exhausted and protect yourself from the creatures on the island.
Kill hordes of Zombies with your ever improving crafted weaponary and armor and find a way off the island.

This game is not hardorce survival horror. More of a top-down shooter.

CS:GO Review
At its core Global Offensive/Counter Strike is a brutal shooter which in its prime was probably the number one cause of broken Microsoft mouses.

The emphasis on death is probably the only aspect of this series that has kept me around. It creates an atmosphere that games like Battlefield and Call of Duty hasn't been able to reproduce. On the outside Counter Strike looks like a simplistic shooter but the learning curve is steep and will challenge even the most seasoned FPS gamer.

The game is simply tactful; it’s brilliant when you’re alive and even when you’re dead the game is still fun to watch other players.

Global offensive is a competitive game and a casual one, although for casual gamers it's probably better to find community servers over Valve servers. There's a huge market place now for the items in CS:GO and not only that, there's third party websites and support for numerous other avenues these in-game items have created

You will also find on Twitch CS:GO is consistently one of the most streamed games and boast numerous competitions, if you need any convincing watch a stream, watch a competitive match and see for yourself.

This game is simply a must try and a game every gamer should have in their library. Overtime you can even make back the money spent on the game from the game itself.
