I do rather like this collection, this is even my second time buying it, but with Capcom Fighting Collection and the Marvel collection coming up, this one comparatively leaves a lot to be desired. I'm disappointed in how the the UI inserts itself into the arcade emulation while selecting anything but characters, it doesn't feel especially authentic. The UI also just feels very... plain. The other collections have options to play Japanese versions of the ROMs, which would be especially helpful here since SSFIIT's American arcade mode is bugged to be extremely difficult. Ranked online being limited to the four games makes some sense to me, but for casual and especially local multiplayer it feels very odd. Especially when compared to the later collections, which have all their games online. Perhaps it's not fair to compare to collections made years later, and I really don't want to disparage Digital Eclipse's work compared to Capcom's in-house collections, but right now it feels lacking in comparison.

The museum is absolutely fantastic and I'm glad this has the 12 games that it does. Other reviews disparage not having certain console versions of the games, but I prefer this being the way it is being arcade only. Works fine on Steam Deck out of the box as long as you turn off v sync. Really got my fingers crossed that this collection gets an update, upgrade, or successor that really puts the polish on.
