So, Trails of Cold Steel - Sen no Kiseki is an Amazing Game. Here's what I think:

[+] Turbo Mode - You can actually speed in-game everything.

[+] Some DLC already on the game.

[+] +100 hours of gameplay

[+] Amazing Backstory of the world that you can get.

[+] Red Moon Rose books are kinda amazing, and I'm surprised I've found myself reading a book in-game just like in real life, and with a better story than a real book. That was so good that I found myself really mad when I lost one copy and had to spent I dunno, more than 50 hours trying to get it to spawn on pawn shop.

[+] Now at least the game does gives you dual audio (in the release it was only in english, and I don't like some of the voice choices in English with the exception of Rean)

[+] Voice Acting in Japanese is flawless. Every single voice actor gives them all to make these characters have a personallity and every single voice fits the personallity and characteristics of the characters so damn well!

[+] S-Crafts really well incorporated this game.

[+] Music: Oh my god the music. There's not a single music I can hate in this game. Falcom just gets better and better with the years.

[+] A LOT of side content, really.

[+] In-Game costumes for use on a New Game +! This is amazing because a lot of games only gives you extra costumes as DLC, and I miss the time when you could unlock the extra stuff by playing the game itself.

[+] Battle system incredibly good. It's so well done, just prooving a game doesn't need to be Hack'n Slash to be a good JRPG.

[-] Skip function: With the introduction of the Turbo Mode, somehow XSEED has broken the Skip Function. Everytime you Skip something pressing "Start" on the battle menu, the skips happens but every single NPC on battle including your party stay still for a couple of seconds. This issue doesn't happen with Turbo Mode, but it never happened on the original PS3 version.

[-] Turbo Mode sometimes breaks the game and battle musics just don't play the second time after a death, for example.

[-] They made us wait for almost a year to put DualAudio on the game, and when they do, it's just a rip-off of what fans of the game already did before, with a new option to swtich the audios on the game configuration tool. And they just did that after they noticed NISA put the Japanese/English audio for Ys8 on their game.

[-] Outside game - Option and Graphics - Configuration. It's a recurring theme with XSEED for Falcom Games. Ever since Ys Origin and Oath in Felghana, the options of the game are outside the game. This is easier by a programming standpoint but it's also lazy. If I want to make any adjustment to the game I need to close it, instead of just going to an option menu and changing it there.

[-] Sadly I had some... Issues with Elise Voice for example in english, I really try to play the game in english because of the 50% more voice recordings on the game but... I don't know, it seems they just hired ONE person to make a good voice (Rean, I really love his voice in English, specially when he says his S Craft Gale), but it's not well casted at all if we compare with the Japanese voice cast. Specially when I have to hear Elise Voice Actor in English or Alisa voice by the matter. Laura voice is ok, but Eliot Voice isn't as good as the original... Anyway, I just think the new voice actors weren't so good for this game, and I WISH it was, because there had some effotr here, but not so good. Thank God Nisa will be porting the Cold Steel III to PS4 and with dual audio instead of single audio like XSEED did, at least I'll buy the PS4 version of the game as happy as I can be. The more I can choose, the better for me as a gamer.

[-] DLC costumes kinda lacking in content. There's also a white variation of Reans clothes on the second game for example, that I can't find as DLC for that game so, it's a recurring problem in both versions by the way.

[-] Trophies Icons are so... DUMB. I mean, they just look like they were drawn by an 8year old child at school, I preffer the ones on PS3 version that's just the Thors Brand with the name of the trophy. Sometimes Less is More, and for a game with such heavy story subjects, it's kinda weird to see these weird icons for achievements. Again, a recurring problem on ALL XSEED ports of Ys and Kiseki Series. Sadly.

[-] If you want to play this game in true full HD or 4K you NEED to install a fan patch that should have been incorporated in this and the second game, that makes all UI elements HD too, so no more blurry buttons and menus. It angers me that the PS4 port have everything in HD while here we need to do it ourselves because they ported the Vita versions of the game.

[-] The worst problem for me, is the choice here: XSEED Decided to port Cold Steel because it was a game that existed on PS3 so they could get MORE money from it. BUT, Cold Steel is heavilly tangled with Zero no Kiseki and Ao no Kiseki. Just for you to have an Idea: Class Seven is stablished at the exact same time the SSS is stablished on the Zero no Kiseki Game. You read through the entire Cold Steel game that Stuff is happening on Crossbell, and it gets worse on the second game, because when Garellia Fortress is destroyed, this event also happens on Zero/Ao no Kiseki. And when you can see the city with a blue barrier and then with an azure tree on the second game, that are themes for the Zero/Ao games, hell! That freaking tree on Crossbell you can see on the second game happens to be the final dungeon for Ao no Kiseki!s The third/fourth game will come now and they assume you played the Zero/Ao Games so... That' bad. And they could have released the Zero/Ao no kiseki, but they don't want to: A: Make a huge game like that to put only on PC, and B: They don't have enough resources to make a port from PC to PS4 so they could get more money from it so.. Yeah, the sad thing is: There's no way to play the other two missing games, and they are heavilly tangled with Cold Steel. They even start and finish at the same time (Zero/Ao = Cold Steel I and II)

But: I have to say: Even with the issues I pointed, I think the pros are better than the cons here, and the game is magnificent. You guys should try it as soon as you can, and let's hope some fans just translate Zero/Ao no kiseki entirely so, I dunno maybe XSEED decides to bring those two games to us with the fan-made translations, since it seems to be the issue here: To translate everything, it's too much work. They did that with Ys Origin and Oath in Felghana (It's impossible for both games to have the exact same Fan-Game text, sorry, but they're exact the same, and the fan-translations came first so...).

Anyway, you should buy these games! I'm happy with them I'm sure you will too.
