Expected nothing less from developers of Gunpoint. I wasn't sure about the magic/tactical combination at first, but the witty and well-written story and dialogue really brings it together.

Having never played a turn-based tactics game, experiencing the gameplay in the demo was what convinced me to buy this game at launch. The rewind system really allows you to creatively iterate and find the best solution to each level, which can be solved in multiple ways. The combo mechanics and audio-visual design makes each hit feel impactful and satisfying, with the defenestration mechanic being the cherry on top.

Even a couple hours in, I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of additional side content offered by the game at launch. The optional and survival missions along with the hard difficulty setting and perk selection/refund system all add layers of replayability, which is honestly quite amazing for an indie game that could've very well gone the fully-linear-RPG route.

Great CO-OP shooter. Variety of weapons and gadgets unlocked through levelling up.

You attempt to accurately point a gun at someone, and hope that you'll shoot the head. 10/10
