Totally recommend it to someone who likes to have fun in a very chaotic way. A really2 good PvP with a physic-based combat style, the perfect game to spend with your buddy and family.

While knowing there are a lot of limitations in the current state, I hope they can sort out their matchmaking system and somehow make the control a lot easier (yes maybe I'm just that noob in this game)

Chrono Cross is one of the best video-game experience I've ever had.

Having played it as a teenager, I really digged up its main character's existential crisis, environmentalism messages, and the nihilistic view from some of the characters.
Aesthetically, the world of CC has such vibrant colors, lively pre-rendered background supported by it's animated lighting probes. Not only that, the music of CC encapsulates many different feels of each areas and scenes thorough the story. From peaceful, melancholy, romantic theme to dark, fear, and enigmatic theme. Yasunori Mitsuda really does capture those elements and add it to his music. No wonder it is praised by his fans to be not only the best work at his career, but also one of the best video-game soundtrack ever made.

The game itself also have its own critics. One major critics that it is loosely connected to Chrono Trigger, its predecessor title. Other thing that bothered me is the story being rushed heavily around 70% mark in the game.

My critics on the remastered version mostly about the FPS issue, censorship, and the unchanged quality of the cinematic scenes. Though they can be easily resolved by mods.
