While waiting for shaders to load I was reading the reviews and getting discouraged. Alas one of my top 10 games finally comes to pc and it's a steam pile according to reviews. At this point shaders are still only about 30%, well crap, not sure what im going to do while I let time tick down to utter disappointment. I decide to go check my mail, which is down 3 flights of stairs and half way across my apartment complex's property I might add. Finally get back upstairs and continue to let shaders continue to load. Some time is passed by watch more said youtube videos of people complaining about the games state, I turn to my daughter and help her with her home work. 75% shaders loaded the rest came rather quick after that. When all was said and done I decide to check settings and fiddle with the usual adjustments because I'm running a i9 9900kf 32g of ram and a 2080 super at stock settings and I play on a Samsung crg9, so sometimes stuff needs to be turned down. Final I click through the start, the first load does take a minute ehhh oh well. Booooooooooom into the game , waiting for stutters and crashes.......yet nothing...... wait????? I thought this game was garbage? Hmmmm something must be wrong I'm having an enjoyable time??? And not crashing!!!! Let's turn on the 5 hue playbars and hue strip behind my monitor and see if that will make it stutter and crash.... well shoot I'm out of ideas. Now I'm roughly 2 hours into the game and completely enjoying my purchase. This isn't counterstrike people its not gunna play on your easy bake oven computers , but it's not trash if you can't run it. Am I 100% happy with my purchase? No I'd say 93.5% pleased it's going to need some work to run smoother for lower end hardware. But remember kids don't feed the troll!!!!

All the negetive reviews on this game crack me up so lets get this straight.
+ You can not run this game on a potato pc so stop trying and then complaining that the devs need to get there SH*T together it runs fiine for me on i7 4790k @ 4.6 and a SINGLE 980ti because we lost sli support BOOHOOO. Upgrade your sh*t.
+ Youre going to encounter cheaters in every game that you play this one had been good and bad hopefuly with improvemnt with new battleeye anticheat. So go play single player games if you dont want to encounter cheaters, it suck but its part of playing online multiplayer games.
+ As for region locking china I would have to agree but they never will because thats where theyre making money thats like asking mcdonalds to stop selling fast food.

So with all this being said most of you leaving horrible reviews probably just are terrible at this game and or your dated pc cant run it and your pissed about it, as for cheaters i maybe run into a legit cheater MAYBE once a night.

GET GUD SCRUBS and just dont leave a bad review because of previous stated reasons this game is pretty decent and defenitly better than any of the other battle royal games out there. and seriously 30 isnt bad for this game and its on sale right now 20 for it is worth it even if you only put 20 or 30 hours into it you get your moneys worth .

After playing the demo I had uneasy expectations about this due to the switch to first person. I was worried that this was going to be another failed attemp to bring the resident evil series into the modern "survival horror" genre. Don't get me wrong there have been a few gems but mostly "run away games". Needless to say I am a long time fan of the RE series back to my wee lad days of sony playstation where the first scared the living crap out of me, to the reboot on game cube bringing back the panic and frustration of the true survival horror genre, and now once again with Resident Evil 7. I applaude you Capcom and those who worked on this title bringing me back to flustered little kid playing resident evil for the first many years ago. Good Job :)
