This game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ trash. It is extremely boring the map is way too big it's like double maybe triple the size of battlefield except there's no hit markers, no customization for weapons, the progress is insanely slow, and the movement is unbelievably slow.

The game stutters constantly every 5 seconds as if it's desparately trying to load in a map that is WAY too big for a 100 player count lobby - and if it isn't stuttering non-stop then it's going to crash every 5 minutes and then you get to wait into a queue of 10 other people to join the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ server. If I wanted to wait in line I would go to the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DMV this game sucks no wonder the player count died.

I mean I think the game has some potential but the ads and weapons and skills are very repetitive and similar to a third person version of destiny 2. It's very repetitive, grindy, and there is a lot of recycled content from what I'm seeing. There's like 2 or 3 enemy types when I was playing. It'll probably be good eventually once the bugs are smoothed out and they release more unique features but I don't think anybody will stick around for that unfortunately.

More than half of the basic functions of this game dont even work such as volume settings, lobby settings, graphics settings bugged... the game is in very rough shape but has potential. Even if the bugs were smoothed out though, the game really isn't that fun as it has no PVE mode.

Souls

I want so badly to recommend this game to others, but I just can't. I wanted so badly for this to be good. I am woefully disappointed. It's been 9 years since the initial release of the original Beta game, and this does not even come close to a successor. I did not want to play more than about 36 minutes of the game before writing this review. This is a very embarrassing first impression.

There is no multiplayer. Who brought this game to the table thinking it'd be okay to not even include multiplayer in the future roadmap for the game's development? The original game was only multiplayer, and that's what made it special. There isn't even co op, and even if there was, you probably wouldn't be motivated enough to work 8 hours of your life every day and come home to an extremely boring single player campaign that has hardly any content and/or incentive to want to continue. The theme and atmosphere feels dead.

The game play is fun, the movement is fun and the core of the game is there, just add multiplayer, nobody really cares about the campaign for crying out loud! Graphically, it's not the best or the worst. Music and sound design is alright.

I miss the original Hawken.
