Don't let the huge passive tree steer you to not try it. The game is great. PoE has gotten really polished over the past leagues and the devs listen to the community feedback. Each league there is a new mechanic which enhances the game and the other league mechanics can be still be found for end-game. One of the best things about this game is also trading community. coming for Diablo 3 there is basically no trading at all unless you're in a party and you have a couple hours to give it to someone (that was in your party) who needs. The crafting i'd say is way better than diablo 3 as well.
TL:DR Give the game a try.
PS i'd recommend buying at least a currency tab for all of the currency items and a premium stash so you can easily sell things.

One of the best Far Cry games that i have played. I've played all of them besides the First one. The story was very well put together and the characters themselves were nicely done. Weapon mechanics are nicely done as well. Gotta love the bullet and arrrow impact sounds. The ending was not what i had expected, but was nicely done. Hunting and fishing is fast way to get a lot of money just wish you could hold more and use the leather/fur to make a bigger backpack or something like previous far cry games, but it doesn't really matter. The game runs and looks Beautiful. There are a few bugs that i've noticed when playing with a friend. like doing a mad drift in a straight line, but i'm sure that'll get patched soon. i'd give the game a 10/10 would recommend. it's a very good game. oh and to the people talking about mircro-transaction and buying, Don't listen to them becuase you can also spend in-game money to get the weapons/vehicles and find silver in some of the safes you unlock. Also the weapons, weapon skins, and vehicles don't do anything extra just cosmetic differences it's not a game breaker by any means. I don't really see a big deal about it, but everyone is angry about something these days.

Some rules for the game:
1. Don't trust nakeds.
2. Only fully trust people that you know irl.
3. Most people with big bases will help new spawns with bp's, but you have to do something in return (i.e. chop down wood, or get stone, metal, or sulfur).
That's about it.

This game is extremely fun, but be prepared to lose everything.
The developers are one of the best that I've seen in any game. They update the game regularly.
