After getting to chat with the dev and play an early demo of this a few years ago at an EGX event I was very keen to get my hands on this as soon as it came out and what can I say. They have delivered a game that is not only aesthetically pleasing but made me have to use parts of my brain I thought were dormant for solving some of the puzzles.

While I may have only spent 6 hours playing the game so far that time flew. Everything so far has had a flow to it that had made this more enjoyable than I could have imagined. If you enjoy not just jumping around but using the old grey matter style platform games then you are in for a treat.

So far the story has been semi deep/dark however also meaningful with a side note of great comedic effect. I was putting voices to many of the NPC's on my journey. I feel the connection with many of the NPC's as well as to their plight (no spoilers).

The backgrounds in each area feel alive and not just there to fill in the void. The character design is on point with the differing outfits and not one outfit for all.

This game so far is a 10/10 from me and I cannot wait to continue the story to find out what happens next.
