Vermintide 2 in 40K universe? Yes, but not really.

Game has Deep Rock Galactic type of mission screen, except without actual procedural generation. Yes, there are modifiers, but still such system feels unnecessary. You can't just choose the mission you want - you have to pick from the rotation.
Well made maps, but there are not that many of them, a bit of repetitive (mission system isn't helping). More maps needed for sure.
There are no established characters here, you create your own. This is not bad, some RP is cool and all, but in the end there is no such chemistry of heroes as in Vermintide 2.
Darktide is kind of more about shooting, I guess, but still vastly focused on melee. And gameplay is great. Dodge, slide, slice and dice, react and adapt to surroundings.
Weapons are nice, but there is RNG elements in terms of stats and crafting system isn't good in it's current state.
OST by Jesper Kyd is chief's kiss.

Overall a good game right now, but It could have been much better. Fatshark should support this game more actively.
