Gameplay Experience: This game is probably the most fun multiplayer experience I have ever had. You and up to 3 other friends or randoms drop in to some hellscape of a planet to kill bugs, robots, or aliens and complete your mission/tasks by any means necessary. Be it small guns, big guns, turrets, fire, gas, shock, air strikes, orbital lasers, mechs, or even actual nukes. Get the job done.

Progression: The warbond (basically battlepass) system is in no way pay to win it is more pay to progress a little bit faster. Every single currency is obtainable in world by playing the game. Each warbond costs 1,000 super credits. While it is entirely possible to get those credits just by playing the game and finding them in the world, Super credits are the only currency that can also be purchased with real money, (1,000 super credits = $10). I have bought several warbonds without spending a penny and some of my friends have bought all of their warbonds without buying credits. You can only unlock levels in the warbonds by earning medals, which you can find in game or earn by completing major orders along with a daily quest. You can not buy medals with real money or supercredits. Aside from warbonds, you can also upgrade your ship which upgrades your equipment with samples common, rare, and super) that you find in mission. None of this can be paid for with real money or super credits.

Story (+ comments about the negative review bombing): This game is so fun also because of the satirical commentary behind it. It is pretty clear from frame one if you have any media literacy that Super Earth is not necessarily the awesome democracy defending good guy it kind of tells you that it is. You are not even fighting for democracy. Throughout the game you are told a multitude of times (by Super Earth) that you are fighting for "Managed Democracy". From the tutorial alone it is overwhelmingly obvious that you are a expendable soldier who is being sent to these insane missions to further the agenda of Super Earth and its propaganda. The bigger question is outside of roleplaying, who cares?? It is a video game. Not real life. What you do in the video game does not reflect who you are in real life. These people who are review bombing because they think Arrowhead are calling their fans fascists either only read the title of the article, had someone else who only read the title tell them about what it said, or are just looking for a reason to get mad. As for the "keep politics out of games" argument: Almost every single game with any substance at all has political and societal inspiration.(Bioshock, COD, Battlefield, GTA, the list goes on ) It shows in different ways to varying degrees of how obvious it is, but its there. Then there are people who are upset that they were "psychologically manipulated into playing the game." Brother do you know what advertisements are? Anything that gets you to do/buy anything is a measure of psychological manipulation.

I highly recommend this game to anyone and everyone 10000000/10

Absolutely incredibly fun game. Haven't played singleplayer yet but multiplayer is an experience that no one should miss out on!
