This game was great at launch.
It's not really worth playing in it's current state.
Seems like there is only a bare bones team up keeping the game.
Quality of life updates just aren't happening quick enough & it seems like the devs have put their attention elsewhere.

Queue times for dungeons/raids/outpost rush are insane so you can't farm any of the items from those.

The combat & weapons are amazing. Questing is fun. Crafting/farming materials is good (it use to be way more of a grind to craft, some high level crafting items are still way too expensive).

This was the type of game you really had to have played at launch as this game heavily relies on player numbers on your server.

They are doing themselves a disservice by not making any consistent social media content to bring in new players.
They only ever advertise new but uninteresting content updates.

It might be worth it for you to get this game on sale & level up a character.
It just really falls off after that.

Early Game Review: This game has an engaging combat system with skill trees that are easy to understand & isn't overly complicated.
The story is captivating, it has well written characters paired with great voice acting & the most important thing, the game is FUN!

100% completion review: Amazing game. Great finish to the story.

I recommended finishing the story before doing too many side quests early otherwise you may be over powered as the story end game enemies will not scale to your level. You could always nerf yourself by using recoat.
I didn't have that experience as I focused on the story first & played as the game guided me to.

Side quests are there if you are having trouble with enemies so you can level up.

There isn't anything in the game that detract from it in any major way but there may be features you would like to have seen due to your own preferances.

Great combat, great story, great music.

Game wont even launch on steam. It loads the anti-cheat then it just cancels the launch. Reinstalling or verifying files does not work.

Edit: Found the fix
Had to turn off CSM in bios and change security to secure boot. You're unable to do this unless your Windows OS is installed on a drive format that is GPT (GUID Partition Table) and not MBR (Master Boot Record).

WORST RANKED EXPERIENCE IN A GAME!
Because Australias(OCE servers) internet is the worst in the world, you are going to get a d/c on your team every few games, mid match, throwing your game.
Matchmaking is horrendous, People peak plat/diamond then make multiple smurfs to just make games the absolule worst.

Don't bother with this game, matchmaking is fixed to keep you playing.
There is no other game with such a terrible ranked experience.

The game is also poorly optimized & needs a lot of work. Frames are unstable.
Moonknights ult needs a nerf, its impossible to react to. It needs a leading voiceline before it pops.

Update Edit: Matchmaking has gotten worse. It's impossible to climb on OCE servers as a solo player. The player pool is so small that you will rarely get good games.

Everyone just makes alts once they've reached GM.
Carrying their noob friends to ranks they don't deserve. Then when they solo queue they get on my team & throw the game because they aren't in the rank they are suppose to be.

Also, people disconnect so much more often than NA because the internet in Australia sucks.
If I was playing on NA servers I would be climbing faster than I am now.

8.75/10 - Worth buying.

Weapons are good but there are too many options & can be a resource sink if you upgrade them.
Exploring is the best part of the game.
Spells aren't the best. Kinda weak & slow.
It would be nice if they implemented a better camera option for keyboard & mouse players.
A camera mod fixes this but you can only play offline.
Bosses are fun but not the most creative. Boss & weapon animations are great.

10/10 Would riposte again.
