- Place the mouse on a smooth surface, preferably on a mouse pad.
- Lightly squeeze the mouse with your dominant hand, do not press too hard.
- Keep your fingers relaxed and the mouse at elbow level.
- Connect the mouse to the USB port.
- Make sure the mouse is working. The computer should be turned on and the cursor should be visible on the screen, which can be controlled by moving the mouse.
- Practice clicking the mouse. For right-handed people, the main button is the left one, for left-handed people, the right one.
