I enjoyed A Thief's End a while ago, but I'm giving a negative review because I think it's extremely stupid to combine two (huge) separate games into one like this. Now when I'm thinking about playing The Lost Legacy, I need 124 GB of disk space and need to redownload a game I've already finished because they are a single package? Why? Steam lets you do bundles, just do that! And the achievements are combined as well. Who thought this was a good idea?

EDIT (to clarify, since some gamers are apparently idiots :surprisedpikachu:)
I have a terabyte and a half of SSD, which is full with games I enjoy often. If I had 5tb, it'd still be full with other games. Or maybe I'd download a lot of movies and TV shows. Just cause storage is relatively cheap, it doesn't mean developers are entitled to it. And anyway! My gripe isn't even about the amount of storage the game uses, really, it's about combining two games into a single download for no real reason (apart from forcing people to buy both games). If these were two separate games, I'd be downloading maybe 70 GB, which means one game uninstalled instead of two.

After playing through the whole series over time, I was starting to wonder if I thought Yakuza 0 was peak Yakuza (in terms of story) simply because it was the first entry I had played. Now that I'm done with a replay, I realize that I was forgetting just how good it really was. Not much else in the series comes close.

Minor spoiler regarding what you get in the ending:

Highly enjoyable up until you see the credits roll in a moment of "wait what?". You had expected more. You thought all that buildup, the depth with the story and the characters, would lead to a satisfying closure, where your guy finds peace; where perhaps you get to see some of the characters again, talk to them differently -- maybe connect. Alas, what you get is a resolution largely detached from the rest of whatever you did throughout the game, and a sudden roll of credits with no sorts of epilogue to follow.

Nice fun like the first game. Not quite convinced this palace filled with marble floors, heavy decorative furniture, a full library, multiple plate armor sets, and a flippin' [redacted] machine, is on an airship though.

Also, lost a bit of progress at the start when the game crashed due to there being no autosave. Just gotta keep in mind to save often.

A would-be fantastic game, probably the best in series, ruined by terrible quest design that adds an insufferable amount of repetitive bloat to each story part. It's not easy for a story game to stand out these days and this game would have, with its story and creative storytelling, if not for the bloat. And I say bloat, because the stuff that repeats isn't even on par with the main story when it comes to quality. It has shallow characters nobody cares about and dialogue and mechanics that are basically copy/paste. It all feels extremely cheap. I still enjoyed the game (no little thanks to the excellent driving and improved combat), but definitely can't recommend it to anyone.

6 hours of fun with friends (100% playthrough). Overall not as hard as other reviews made it seem, except for one insane machine in a later chapter. Fortunately we had math people who figured it out.
