You just can't beat the original, man. I only have around 30 hours on steam, but I've played it before on PS2 and PS3, and all around I probably have closer to something like 200 or 300 hours. That being said, thanks to the re4_tweaks mod and the HD project mod, this is easily, hands down, the best version of the game, and that includes the remake. You can like or dislike the remake but there's simply no beating this game. The absolute charm, character and gameplay of it isn't just good, but downright iconic and changed the industry of videogames for years to come, even nowadays the influence from re4 can be felt in modern games.

I can't say anything people haven't already said about this game a million times. If you like videogames at all, this is a must play, without question.
