(Hope you're well these days, all good here!) You might enjoy The Roottrees are Dead. Think of it as somewhere between Golden Idol and Her Story. Animal Well is an excellent platformer adventure (closest comparison: Fez); Void Stranger is a Sokoban (block pusher) with a very deep rabbit hole. Botany Manor is a relaxing more traditional first-person puzzle adventure. Epigraph is a good language translating game with no handholding -- Chants of Senaar is a good language translating game with more handholding. Blue Prince is very much in the spirit of Myst meets Outer Wilds with a roguelike element to it, I'm still earlier in that. 1000xResist is a sort of light adventure game... like Nier Automata with no combat, light puzzles, but immaculate worldbuilding. Crimson Diamond is an old-school keyboard-driven adventure game like early Sierra games. Almost everyone loved Slay the Princess but I haven't played it yet, ditto Loco Motive.

Hi! 2023 has been a wild ride so far (all good personal news, but very chaotic). Glad you saw my Golden Idol review, really smitten with that game. Hoping to get time to play Firmament at launch. I backed the Kickstarter! I played Myst with my Dad when it launched on PC and it kicked off a lifelong love of the genre; Dad passed away 8 years ago now but a new Cyan game is always a great opportunity to think of him while I'm playing.
