'Is it really worth the higher price tag for just a fighting game?'

To be honest, Gang Beasts is a very fun and entertaining game to play with friends and alone.

It is a game full of insane possibilities and creative ways to win the round. It has lots of maps on the LOCAL version of the game which currently is the most developed. But the UNSTABLE version of the game is the version with the multiplayer which sadly only has about 5 maps which is still acceptable but could be better.

Overall i would reccomend this game but if you are looking to buy and money is an issue or a factor, wait until it goes on sale.

There has been an addition of a few more maps, i believe about 4/5 more, which is very good in terms of variety. However there has been a recent lack in communication with the developer.

The game is becoming more stable and refined however there is still a lot of bugs and glitches.

That being said im going to have to demote the rating i gave to a 7/10

There has been a relatively large update which added 3 new maps and a wide variety of new character customisation, more servers and more stability.

That being said I will be increasing the rating to a 8.5/10

TL;DR - Funny and entertaining game with or without friends. Wide range of maps. Gameplay is intresting however gets repetitive. Lots of customization for characters. Price is a little high but not too much
