This game is actually pretty unique. It's really trippy and has a great atmosphere with a great art style. The game makes you really think outside the box in order to progress which I really enjoyed and at $20 I'd say it's pretty fairly priced but even then it does go on sale.

Goofy story & characters with little animations with a bunch of fetch quests but if you ignore all that it's a fun game where you get to shoot a monstrous train on a creepy island. Would recommend waiting for a sale as the game is pretty short.

Super fun game as an only PvE game currently. It can be pretty challenging to grasp at first though so it'll take some practice to get good at the combat. Great soundtrack + visual design and I didn't experience any bugs within my 20ish hours of gameplay (Steam doesn't display my offline hours). It's also a very cheap game at $10 which is honestly a steal. Can't wait for PvP!

Has great potential. Definitely more gun variety (only 3 guns per class and every class shares the most basic 2 of them) and an extra class or two wouldn't hurt. Optimization needs a lot of work as I fulfill the recommended specs but at the lowest settings FPS gets spiked and in gunfights its like a 30 fps slideshow which can be frustrating. It also feels kind've grindy to unlock the whole arsenal of perks and equipment which might not be pleasant for everyone (which could be accredited to the repetitive gameplay). There's literally only 2 gamemodes available and they play pretty much the same with a resource gathering phase + defense phase + extraction phase. They could definitely come up with more missions + maps & objective types like Deep Rock Galactic or even Second Extinction potentially involving something like infiltrating the brain bug like in the movie.

This game can still be pretty fun though especially because of the playerbase or if you love the movie which it is very faithful to but I'd recommend checking it out after it's out of early access when hopefully by then it'll have a substantial amount of content. I've personally been enjoying sniping down high priority bugs as a Hunter.

Really fun game! Contains about 20 or so hours of substantial content if you pace yourself and try to get all the upgrades and a nice base. Decent workshop as well from which I picked up a couple nice mods. Can't wait for 1.0!
