Game is either in the process of being abandoned, or they're attempting to begin looking for new ways to monetize the game now that they have a 1.0 release. After 3 years of development, there are almost as many bugs now compared to when they started.

If they're attempting to hide behind the Bethesda method, and hope that the players find them "cute" these guys are going to be in for a ruuude awakening.

Don't get me wrong, the game still can be fun if you are able to get into servers, however this is nowhere near ready for a pretty 1.0 release.
