In this report, a model was developed using classical mechanics and ideal chemistry to estimate the speed, trajectory, orbital path, and final impact of the character Canna (played by 2) after being accelerated to speeds greater than escape velocity, reaching an orbit around the planet, and impacting a desired target upon reentry. The assumptions and setting for experiment are based on the fictional planet Thocia, set in the world of Dungeons & Dragons®.

The initial velocity will be achieved by the use of a series of speed enhancements and multipliers assembled and used at one time. An initial burst of speed will be generated by use of what is referred to as the “Peasant” or “NPC” Railgun, followed by a series of speed multipliers. Canna is set to be launched horizontally at a speed greater than that of the escape velocity of the planet. The speed expected for these calculations is 3,700 m/s. However, we are seeking to reach an altitude of about 500,000 miles in an appropriate amount of time.
