Diablo Camera and randomised loot, Dark Souls combat, Stardew Valley ish crafting (they will add actual farming in the future), PS1 classics exploration with hidden pathways.

2 hotfixes within first 2 days. Dragon's Dogma 2 can't fix their FPS a month + in.

Hyped for 1.0 and I've barely scratched the surface

The game itself in insanely good, I have a Ryzen 5 3600 and a 2070 Super with 16gb of RAM and the game runs at 60+ fps in the open world, dropping at 20s but stabilising at 30+/- in the first big city - performance wise it's playable, and hopefully with the performance patch dropping soon (copium) the game can only get better.

The MTX are all items you can get in-game, Capcom does the same in most releases and nobody loses their minds over that. Also only 1 save and no new game, who thought that was a good idea?

Is the game fun and addicting? I have logged 22 hours in about 2 days. It's a great game that is being hindered by subpar performance, once that is taken care of, the game is easily a must have for fans of the genre.

It really made me appreciate Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen even more than I already did, and I played that game with subpar performance too at 30 FPS.

10/10 Democracy simulator

Okay souls-like with a cool twist with the Umbral/Axiom realm switches.

Combat is a hit and miss sometimes due to feeling floaty.

Good armor and weapon variety but only like 10% of weapons are really good and meta. Cool armor tinct system.

Questionable quest design, if you do something minimal it can lock you out of a lot of major sidequests and you have to reply from scratch to be able to get the ending you want, questline reward you want etc.

PvP has gotten better but some spells are still stupidly OP. Not balanced at all.

Bosses are abysmal compared to games like Elden Ring.

Barely any enemy variety.

All these negative reviews are a great meme. The effort and passion can be easily seen even within the first hours of the game. It's not a game for everyone, but it's great in my opinion.
