Early Access Review
Northgard is a very fun combination of a City builder and an RTS. It's quite unique because unlike in other RTS games where the goal is usually to destroy your opponents army, structures or base in Northgard you can achieve victory in a civilization-esque manner aswell which means achieving victory through trade, fame or by doing random map objectives. The game took the best of both genres and managed to blend it perfectly together.

Before buying though, you have to be aware that the game is in early access and it's missing quite a few features which I hope they'll put in the game in the future so it gets a better replay value. The singe player campaign is supposed to be coming and I'm looking forward to that but the game should introduce some sort of matchmaking system because it would be easier for players to find matches. Also they should probably add more buildings, units and victory conditions instead of creating more completely different clans.

So long story short, it's a beautiful game with tons of potential. It is definitely worth the cost.

This is one hell of a game! It is so incredibly fun to play, especially with another person or in my case with significant other. You will constantly have discussions about contradictions, you have goofs about silly and quirky actors and you'll constantly craft theories about the game. It's so much fun! It's an FMV game and I have to admit it's the first one I've ever played so I can't compare it to other games like it. Having that in mind, coming from a gamer who plays all sorts of games, I've found this game to be quite thrilling and entertaining.

SHOULD YOU BUY IT?
So long story short, YES, GO, BUY THE GAME! It's only 10€! It's incredibly low for a game as good as this! I think it's really underpriced and there's no reason not to buy it if you like witty detective mysteries. That's it! I'd compare this game to british crime drama series. Yes .. it's an interactive british TV series. So go buy it and give them the money so that they create a damn sequel ! I need it!

Do not buy it! NO! It's a horrible first person shooter with a slapped "ghost in the shell" skin on it. If you are a fan of the anime DO NOT BUY IT, do not even play it once it becomes free to play. It's horrible! The gun-play is clunky, a lot of mechanics are stolen from ghost recon phantoms (which isn't a good game on its own), the movement is horrible and servers aren't stable (which is justifiable because the game is in alpha I think). It's really one of the worst shooters I've ever played and it's really hard to get on that spot given the amount of shooters that I've played.
Horrible, horrible experience from a publisher that doesn't give a crap about it's games and the community that's building around those games. Also the developer Neople which is a subsidiary of Nexon. I have no idea why Nexon would publish this junk when it has Dirty bomb, a GREAT shooter under its control.
I'm warning you, this is terrible.

This game is a true masterpiece. The art style is unique, the music is out of this world, the narration is probably the best in any other game I've ever played (except for maybe Stanley parable), the combat is really solid, perhaps not the best in these sorts of games but it is definitely solid. The characters don't say much but they have so much character that you will grow to love them. The world that they created is really interesting and the variety of monsters is something to look up to.

To sum up everything, this game is an isometric action game, with great design and mild role playing elements that's going to have you hooked for at least 15 hours. It's really cheap and goes on sale often so there's really no reason not to buy it.

I think that Dontnod Entertainment created a really good game with an interesting story and a mechanic that somehow at least for a little revives the genre that has been the same for the last couple of years. Still, with that said, I think it didn't revive it enough, and even with the mechanic of rewinding time it just fells like a story driven tell tale clone.
On the other hand, you have to accept that this game is beautiful. The graphic design and the art style are just so incredible! The facial expressions of people are much, much better than the awful facial expressions of the characters created by the leaders in this particular genre: telltale games. I think this is a very important thing in these sorts of games where you have to create a certain connection with the characters in order to truly experience it.

If you are a fan of these sorts of story driven games than I'd highly recommend buying it but if you didn't like other games like this don't bother with it. The new mechanic that is introduced doesn't justify buying it because it just doesn't manage to change it in a very big way. Honestly, I think it's just a gimmick.

Deponia is the first game in the trilogy. I have yet to finish the other two games so I won't be comparing them to each other. I will however, compare this game to other games in the genre. Deponia is a great example of a rightful successor of much older games in the genre. It has great hand drawn art style, witty characters, fun events and mind boggling puzzles. It will truly be a challenge to finish this game without looking for help on google but if you manage to do it, you'll feel really great.

It's interesting to see these kinds of games in these times where point and click games have just turned into interactive stories with little to no failure state. Telltale games have "evolved" the genre in a way that is catered to a more casual audience who wants to experience the story without having to stop and think for a couple of hours in order to proceed with it. I'm not saying it's necessarily a bad thing, I'm just saying that it's sometimes nice to see a game that reminds us of older classics like "Tales of the Monkey island", "Sam and Max", "Grim Fandango", "Broken Sword" and so on..

Deponia also grants us with a wonderful story set in a very interesting junk-filled environment. I recommend this game to everyone who wants to experience said story in an old-school way where you will have to think and often get frustrated by the sheer silliness of the puzzles which you will have to complete in order to finish the adventure.

Gone home is an unconventional game. That's all I have to say. It's a very linear experience, with its fair share of optional secrets. I went into this game with zero sequences spoiled for me which means I constantly expected ghost sightings and because of that everything felt very eerie and weird. I felt really uncomfortable expected something would happen and then nothing did. That's the beauty of this game. You're constantly expecting something to happen, something to scare you, some event that is going to pop and then when it doesn't you don't feel sad or stupid, you feel amazing because you realize the atmosphere is what makes this game. It's all about atmosphere from the setting to the sounds you encounter during your little investigation. Also everything is a huge 90s fan service nostalgia trip.

SHOULD YOU BUY IT?
Having all that in mind, I'd say don't buy the game at full price. The 20 euro price tag is way too unrealistic. It's a 2 hour experience and I've read almost everything in the game. Wait for a 50% sale at least. I got it in humble bundle and I'd say for that price it's really decent.

The game is a huge grindfest, has a fairly uninteresting story, the character design and the classes are very bland. The environment you run around isn't detailed at all, has an autopathing system. This is an mmo where I couldn't force myself to hit the level cap. Definitely a waste of money. There are much better mmorpgs out there(even the free to plays).

I initially bought this apocalyptic first person shooter just to test out my new rig since the game looks amazing and the redux was fairly cheap. I haven't played metro 2033 so I can't really compare the two so I'll just write a review without making a comparison to the original. Although, having watched videos of the original one I must say this is one heck of a remaster. I don't know if they changed anything else besides the huge graphics improvemenet but even if they didn't you should definitely buy the redux if you're playing this in 2015. Needless to say, I was hooked to this game and have continued playing it. If you like atmospheric shooters, with a very interesting plot you should get this one.
If you have a decent pc, and some spare cash buy the redux version, the original might be cheaper but the experience can't be the same.
