Recommended as a great co-op experience. So far feels clunkier than trying to use a controller on Excel. Same key used to climb ladder, pick up ammo, investigate things, jump through window, jump off ledge, pick up item and roundhouse kick / impale enemy. Mouse acceleration seems quick when no enemies are around and then really slow when they are around.

Fantastic puzzle game. Made by the same people as Slayaway Camp and just as good but this time it's free. Great death animations, charming art style and play at your own pace. A perfect break away from fast paced FPS games. Grab the game, pour a drink and relax with some Jason carnage.

Managed to pick the Flaming Jason DLC up for 8p due to a 90% off voucher which was a nice bonus (I guess due to owning slayaway camp) and it got the game immediately noticed and installed when I saw the voucher in my inventory.

Fantastic game that is easy to play and hard to master. Just when you think you have everything under control the game reminds you who the boss really is.

Not played COD for quite some time and the Beta enabled me to remember why. Headless chicken simulator on tiny maps with tiny teams. Very much like a game of virtual tig. Maybe that's why the kiddies like it?

Fair play for putting a Beta out to the general public.

At times it is clunky, frustrating and brutal but ultimately it is very rewarding when you get the hang of things and play as a team.

Squads working with their leader, squad leaders working with the commander, commanders trying to drop napalm and artillery barrages on the opposite team but relying on the squad leaders for co-ordinates. When everyone plays their role and listens to the commander it's fantastic. I'd say that this is how the majority of games go.

There are some games were this scenario doesn't play out as squad leaders don't give out co-ordinates for air attacks and the role of the commander is somewhat reduced to calling in recon, anti air and fast spawns. But if that happens then you can stick it out or easily move along to another server.

First proper patch is due out in the next few days so will be interesting to see how this changes the game. So far I've really enjoyed my 30 hours or so in vietnam.

Fantastic game. Play stealth or kill everything that moves. Perfect game to play whilst waiting for Dishonored 2 to get patched up and working properly.

Had Civ 5 in my library for ages. Finally decided to give it a go. Now finding it hard to stop playing and had to tell my wife I fell asleep at the PC last night when I crawled in to bed at 5.00am.

First game spawned randomly as Germany and ended up making Greece my b****. So realism is fantastic!

So many ways to play, options to tweak and then lots of Mods in the steam workshop. Can see how people rack up the hours playing this.

Picked up all of the DLC in the steam sale for just over £6. Absolute bargain.

Great fun if a little short. The better the kills the more in game currency you get to upgrade your weapons allowing for even more crazy kills. Had some issues with original windows live account but fixed it with 5 mins of asking Mr Google what to do. Think I had to go via xbox live website to update the windows live marketplace or something,

Really enjoyed the game and will be revisiting it for the "echoes" part that lets you replay levels to see what score you can get etc. Took me around 8 hours to complete and would suggest picking it up in a sale to get better value for money.

Fantastic game that I'm enjoying more and more each day as I discover something new. Similar to minecraft with the crafting, mining and trying to survive but with added realism.

EDIT: Put a few more hours in now and love it! Perfect to play in single player but I think it plays best with others so you have other players and zombies to worry about.

Zombies can pose a real threat and will break through your defenses to hunt you down. Your buildings need to take in to account physics / gravity - you can't place blocks in "thin air". Mines will colapse on top of you if not adequately supported. If you carry raw meat or cooked food then the zombies can smell it if they get close.

Multiple ways to play as well. Play by yourself against the zombies, bring friends along to work with you or against you, or go online and join P v P v E servers for some real carnage.

Highlight for me so far is a zombie horde tearing our base to pieces just as I was thinking that we were pretty well established.

So for an alpha I'm very impressed with the content and how it plays though the game still has a few things to iron out:

Hackers - First few online games I played in had the odd hacker. The latest release has an additional cheat protection that is being trialled so hopefully this will help. EDIT: Not really had problems with hackers since finding a good server with good admin and good protection (IP blocks, Ping limits, EAC and GBL enabled).

Glitches - Some graphical glitches allowing me to get out of a sealed underground mine. Not a massive problem. Cooking mechanic can get glitchy and mean more fuel is needed to cook things. EDIT: Still some glitches though gets better with each patch. Not really an issue for single player or PvE and only becomes a slight problem for PvP if people abuse exploits.

I think it is worth buying at normal price and a MUST BUY if it goes on sale again (which it no doubt will soon enough).
