I've never really been into CYOAs, but a friend pointed this out to me because of the dragon aspect which, sure, might be a little short-sighted, but another friend gifted it to me, so I gave it a shot.

I love this game.

The writing, the art, the music, even the game mechanics itself are really good and engaging. I know that writing can make or break any form of media, but this game is one of the best written that I've seen. I'll agree with people on the fact that some fonts are hard to read, but overall it is very fun to read.

The art style is, again, very pleasing to look at and I love the designs they have for each dragon, as well as the use of color in things like the tarot cards. The music fits each moment that it plays, and I really like how subtle and atmospheric it is.

When it comes to the game mechanics, I'm a fan of rougelikes and rougelites so I don't have a problem with death being 'permanent' (in the sense of that specific life is over for good) while also retaining some progress and stuff for future lives. The three 'chances' are also good in my book, as it can and should be used as a learning tool, as failure does.

I can tell a lot of effort and love was put into this game and it really shows. I hope the game really kicks off and the sales rake in, because I really want more for this game and I haven't even beaten it yet. Thank you so much to the dev team for making such a great game.
