Short, ominous and somewhat suffocating to play - the game being point and click really adds to the experience and I think more horror games should try to work around with it and hopefully the dev will again as well. Very nice game!

Visual adventures will always be one of my favorite genres and Looking Up I See Only A Ceiling gladly reminds me of why. When a game sets its atmosphere right, you know it's gonna be good, despite there being a few soundtracks, each of them set the exact scenery I was immersing myself into, the thriller-ish setting only helped, love me a game that fills me with anxiety and expectations on what's gonna happen next! Exploring a small environment can feel restraining at times, but LUISOAC does it right and doesn't make you feel frustrated about it.
Needless to say I also loved the artstyle! The game was so much more dynamic thanks to it, pixel art is extremely underrated and looked down to, but it was perfect for this kinda game.
Story-telling was also very good, I might be biased but I love interacting with things and whenever there's a new interaction due to some events happening I'm already sold; it adds lots of depth to your surroundings, so it was perfect.
I do have a complaint about it though: To keep the right atmosphere for this game, I feel like it shouldn't have been said outright that Him and Her were the same person and that he was her consciousness, to keep the whole atmosphere I feel it should've been foreshadowed or maybe more up to interpretation or just something to understand between lines, "show don't tell" it's something I think would've fit the story-telling. This is just a personal preference, though!
Overall this was a very enjoyable experience. I highly recommend it! It was lovely!
