Without a doubt, an utterly fantastic game. Mods are great to help spice up your next playthroughs once you've finished the base game a few times.

Previously the review was negative due to a forced change that would impact and alienate customers, preventing certain customers from playing the game. Due the the change the game is getting a positive review... because the game itself actually deserves it. It's a phenomenal experience and the Devs do listen.

Played and beat the game on below minimum specifications on medium settings. They did a pretty decent job with optimization I think. Bravo to Motive. They did a wonderful job on this one.

Started off fine, but overall it feels half baked with some bad design choices.

I main gripes are when you lose a unit you must spend a miracle point (Which are rare to get). I played on easy and it's hard to keep units alive. This game is very punishing if you don't keep units alive, especially since the enemy can sometimes get continuous reinforcements. The game would be far more enjoyable if you got your units back after the mission.

The game doesn't do a fantastic job of explaining certain things, like tribute. If you tribute a unit, you basically sacrifice that unit for exp which in turn can be given to another unit. Unfortunately, since you cannot go back to replay missions to get more units, this is useless. You can sacrifice skills and wargear though! Bad design. The tribute confirmation screen doesn't even explain that you'll kill the unit.

The AI is... mostly fine, but does literally nothing some turns. In a game with only 2 actions points (since I never had a unit that did more unless its through abilities that cost a different resource) it can take a while to kill some units.

Overall this COULD be a good game, but it falls flat. 4/10

Honestly, I don't like battle royale games too much. This is by far an incredibly fun game and the only battle royale I'd ever consider coming back to. It's a refreshing take on the battle royale archetype and it's addictingly fun. Unfortunately it's got a low playerbase count. It's unfortunate as this game really is incredible in it's design.

An incredibly satisfying melee game that builds upon what chivalry started. Fantastic game, with amazing devs.

Definite recommendation

This game is one of the few Warhammer 40k that is completely amazing. Honestly it's top 3 for me and I really hope they make DLC campaigns because I'd love to see more tech trees, expanded tech trees, and more skitarii.

Not only are the dev's passionate about the game and the lore, spending a lot of time making sure everything is fluff accurate. They have done a wonderful job engaging with the community. I remember earlier last year when this game was announced and they were looking at books to determine how to deal with dead tech priests.

Game of the year for me right here. An abolsute gem that every warhammer 40k casual, veteran, or enthusiast must own.

A masterpiece of a game. Don't ever rush anything. This game can really make you care.

Game has frame issues but looks fantastic and feels quite nice too.

Long Single player campaign with multiplayer coop.

The game itself is great but still needs a few patches.
